Diamond World Casino spammers busted

15 replies • Last post

Ed's note - this is a spammer working for the casino.

I finally had some more time to play during Easter and while I was surfing the net in search of a nice online casino I came across one called Diamond World Casino. I liked the look of the site and their games seemed to be interesting, but since I couldn't find a review of this casino here I decided to wait until you say the site is ok 😉 The welcome bonus they offer is very tempting but I’d like to know if the casino can be trusted. Has anyone played there?

My friend recommended me Diamond World Casino and I decided to enter this casino. At first sight, I was delighted by the layout, then I looked into Terms & Conditions and they were very satisfying, then I took a look at the games, and after that I decided to register an account! Now I'm a lucky player of this casino and I have to admit that it's fresh but really great! 🙂

By the way, the welcome bonus is very generous 🙂

Be sure to check the reviews here. I see this one, but I am not sure if it is the same. This one is on our blacklist.

CL-Ed can tell us if it is the same casino or not. Until then, PLEASE be careful and use caution BEFORE you deposit anymore. There are MANY well-reviewed places here, so you don't need to take chances on rogue casinos.

Again, I am not sure if that is the one you are talking about or not, but that is what I found in the reviews.

Despite the similar names, this casino is not Diamond VIP casino that we have reviewed.

It appears to be very new and running completely new software that I have never heard of before called Ace Mirage which is developed by a company named Wazdan Limited. I did a bit of googling and found very little. In fact the best I could find was one of the most ludicrous "reviews" that I have ever read praising this casino and awarding it over 9/10 even though it could not have been open for more than a couple of months and the obvious poor quality of the games.

I am always cautious with brand new casinos running brand new software as there is no way to tell if the games are fair (apart from depositing and hoping of course). The casino claims to have its payouts audited and its RNG tested but there is no evidence to support this such as a payout audit document or a certificate from a recognised authority certifying that the RNG is random.

Despite navigating around the painfully slow website taking ages and the images of the games on the website frankly looking terrible, I downloaded the software. Right after working out that you had to first register, confirm your email, and then login before you can even download the software, that is. The installer did not inspire me with confidence as you can see in the screenshot below. I was prepared for the worst but in fact the software isn't half bad, at least in terms of the layout and usability. The annoying "boomp" sound that you hear every time you mouse over something clickable has to go though - 1996 called and it wants its annoying sound based user interface back.

But then you try to play the games. Blackjack didn't work. Some of the slots didn't work. And the ones that do look terrible. There really isn't any other way to describe it. It is not what I would expect to see from a brand new casino software in 2013 compared to the likes of Microgaming or Net Entertainment for example. They might be the best slots ever made but there was no way that I could bring myself to sit there long enough to find out.

The cashable welcome bonus of 100% with wagering of 25xB sounds like decent value if you are a slots player. However without knowing the RTP settings for the slots, I can't know that for sure.

Mini-review in a single sentence: I would not deposit my money there.

Installer WTF?

As for nathanpetit's post above. That is hilarious. Either you're spamming for this casino or you have completely confused this with another casino.

That's what I thought too, even looked to see if he posted within minutes of the first poster.

I had to laugh out loud at " 1996 called and it wants its annoying sound based user interface back."

Ed's note - this is a spammer working for the casino.

Thanks a lot CL-Ed!!! We can always count on you!

However, encouraged by nathanpettit I downloaded the application (hopefully without depositing my money yet), since I was looking for completely new games (I'm fed up with playing the same games from the same software providers all the time). And I must say that all games ran smoothly (even Blackjack) - hmm that's strange that you had problems with openning them.

Here is what I think about their games: three-reel slots offered by the casino are old-fashioned (for me all three-reel slots are old-fashioned), but they have a few video slots that are quite entertaining, although they could have had better graphics. In one game (I don't remember what its name is) there is a bonus game with a sexy blonde that takes off her clothes every time you win. Another game resembles noughts and crosses - quite entertaining once you get used to it - and yet another has two levels. Even though these games don't look as good as modern 3D slots, I had fun playing them in fun mode. I wonder how much I could win while playing these games. The sound effects were in fact a bit irritating, so I turned off the sound 😉

I wanted to deposit my money there and get that Welcome Bonus, but after your review I will think it over. If I decide to deposit, I will let you know if everything is ok.

Thanks for your help and time spent on testing the casino for me! 🙂

I guess if you want to look at the positives, this software should run without issues on any ancient computer!
But the sounds are indeed horrifying. Especially since there's no option to turn them off in the software itself, you either mute the application in your mixer or just turn your speakers off ;/

I did not have any issues with the games though. Maybe they were caused by a corrupted installation or something? Not that I would know anything about that stuff.

I'm not that much of a slots player nowadays so I didn't pay too much attention to them, especially since there doesn't seem to be anything really eye-catching.

Blackjack was good, but you don't really need a lot to make a good blackjack I guess? The announcing voice seemed like a nice touch at first, but became an annoyance pretty fast, just like other sound effects. I still couldn't help it and play for quite some time though 😉 (but all in fun mode!)

All in all, I guess you need to be one of those people that like classics more and count on nostalgia to enhance their experience?

Thanks for the heads up andreas87. I was reading the first post here and it reeked of spam. Good to see that others are calling this guy out.

Yes I forgot to mention that. There's a little spanner icon that you would expect to enable you to mute sounds and adjust settings but what it does is load another web browser window with your account settings. There was no way I could find to turn off that annoying "booomp" in the software itself.

There is definitely something to be said for simplicity but this casino takes the "less is more" approach to the extreme. If I had played it in 1996 I probably still would not have been impressed. I just could not find a reason for anyone to play there, given that they don't accept the poor starved-for-choice Americans, and the high quality of games and wide choice that Europeans and people from other countries have.

As for the spamming, yeah the game is up (see my next post).

This is a prime example of how attempting to astroturf our site backfires, wouldn't you agree guys from (and I'm guessing here), a spamming company (cough SEO) that sells itself to casinos?

To be clear, michaelmartin, nathanpetit and andreas87 are all associated, along with many other accounts that we have discovered.

This was obviously an attempt to spam but I have played your game and it has backfired for you spectacularly. You have encouraged me to expose how your casino client isn't professional, their software sucks, and the games don't work. The most hilarious thing is that you have even had to come back here and agree with me to try to perpetuate your charade. And now your client is going to be added to our blacklist, forever tarnishing their name.

Opening more than 10 accounts and posting from the same IP addresses multiple times in an attempt to manufacture some publicity for an amateur casino is an amateur move made by amateurs.

Busted.

Even I would know to not open ten accounts using the same ip address and I know just a little about computers. How stupid of them, but now it's here for the world to see.

Oy vey.

Ed, you really need to post a behind the scenes deal of some of the garbage you see on here. Between complaints, spammers, rogues, and other miscreants, it is a wonder you are able to keep your sanity here.

You are sane, right?

Sometimes I wonder!

Man if you knew the half of it. We had to shut down over 15 accounts that these scumbags registered more than 6 months ago. I'll grant they have patience, waiting that long to start the spamming. But as soon as they start it is simple to spot. I really don't know why they bother.

Its not just the way they post so blatantly but a number of other things that made us suspicious and we noticed a few weeks ago. Let's just say that these guys are not very smart and leave it at that - I don't want to help them improve their methods.

I belong to another site where there were a lot of ids being made every day. The people were/are spammers. They never participate in conversation. They just leave links to where to buy gold or something.

Six months is an awfully long time to wait to post. Good riddance.

I have just posted a review of this casino and thought it only fair to post a link to it here as the casino is much changed since the issues raised by me earlier in this thread:
