Oddsmaker casino - Never play there.

8 replies • Last post

The chance of you hitting anything is SLIM and close to 0. DONT play there. I betted on the Dozens 1-12, to my surprise, it didnt hit for 15 time. What are the chances of that? .000000278%. What the hell is this rigged site.

actually that does happen alot with any casino platform. but one thing you should always do is check reviews on a casino before you play there and when i googled this casino it has poor ratings. plus they have there own software witch is another red flag. but when playing roulette (its my specialty) those events are very common. you have to take into account that your getting in almost 3x more spins an hour so it makes that happen alot more often. i have found the reviews on this site are dead on accurate. in the future be very careful and always do the do diligence on any casino and what software they run. welcome to the forum! anytime you have questions about game play hope on here everyone is very knowledgeable and very willing to help 🙂

i used to think like kianz11 did years ago but when you step back and look at the amount of spins an hour online vs at a real table its a huge difference! in fact about an hour ago i had one of normal numbers take 210 times to hit. that is a oddity but it happens. if you any questions just ask anyone here we are all happy to help 🙂

Lets assume that you were playing European roulette in which there is a single zero and 36 numbers, making 37 total pockets. You were betting on a single dozen column, so there were 25 pockets which would result in you losing (37 minus the 12 you were betting on).

Therefore the chance of not hitting that dozen 15 times in a row is the same as the chance of hitting the 25 other pockets 15 times in a row. ie:

(25/37) ^ 15 = 0.002793021
That is 0.28% or 1 in 358, not the 0.000000278% figure that you posted.

If you were playing American roulette with the 00 pocket then it is:

(26/38) ^ 15 = 0.003371679
That is 0.34% or 1 in 297.

That is unlucky but not rare.

Now I checked out Oddsmaker around the internet and found that its main sportsbook business has an F rating and loads of warnings on the excellent sportsbookreview.com. That alone is enough for me to never play there.

So while I agree with your warning not to play there I cannot agree that the story you have posted here is definitive proof that you were cheated.

wow ed thats a nice way to show it! i never seen the math behind it. i just knew when you start playing faster then you do at a live table the odds of total oddities in the randomness go up fast lol

Ed usually does an awesome job spelling out the math behind the games. He is like our Wizard of Odds around here.

If you ever think you were cheated or found a glitch, he is the man to talk to.

Kudos again Ed.

Thanks for the compliment but I am nowhere near in the same league as the actual Wizard of Odds guy! I just do the simple stuff.
