Trouble Making Deposits

51 replies • Last post

It seems making deposits (within USA) is quite a challenge (and frustrating). I use MC or VISA, sometimes will work, but more of a problem. I purchased an international VISA gift card but couldn't deposit at Sloto, or Slots Plus, finally tried Lucky Red where it did work after several tries.

Is there a particular type international VISA gift card to purchase for deposits; that is, a brand name of some sort?

Are deposit methods a common problem for others?

Hello and welcome bobafett0820. If you have read the depositing forum you have seen that it is difficult to deposit and withdraw in the US and things are changing always. I haven't had any trouble with the banks rejecting wire transfers but usually the amt the casinos require is somewhat restrictive. I have cashed my checks at wal-mart with no problems tho. I use the netspend visa card for deposits and rarely have a problem. I was also using pasteandpay.com to buy vouchers to deposit with but recently that has been off-line alot. there is a new option the club world casinos offer okpay which you should look into. I wouldn't bother with paylinq as they are fading that one out.

We all try to help each other here so if you do have questions please post.

thanks luckywalker! i did just come across a visa site for entropay.com that will allow us players to deposit and withdraw. so im looking to all the rules there. i love club world casinos i play a lot there in fun mode mainly aladdins gold. i noticed they will take visa as a deposit but wont let you cash out with it 😢 and the wire transfer concerned me just due to banks regulating casino money. are the wire transfers done threw 3rd party as well?

Payment processors are hit or miss, and things can change on a dime. I myself am reluctant to trust them, but I am restricted as I do not currently have a Visa card so I may look at one in the future.

Wire transfers are good, and I have done lots of Money Grams in the past. If the casino is reputable, you really shouldn't have much to worry about.

Oh, and welcome to the site bobafett0820!

They sure don't make it easy, and there are a lot of bad casinos out there. Like I said, with Money Gram I have been able to request a payout at like 9am and go pick it up by 7pm the same day.

Not too shabby for an out of country transaction.

Which casinos offer Money Gram for withdrawals, Slim? Can you name a few, please? Thanks! 🙂

I have not used Okay Pay yet. I did not carry out my registration. I have been kind of lazy about it, so sorry I can't help. I do know the casinos are really pushing it.

I just use my regular Visa to deposit, and the occasions I won smaller amounts, I chose "pay to card" for my withdrawal method. You can also have funds deposited to your bank or have them send you a check for withdrawals. Someone said they had no problem cashing the checks at Walmart.

I really want to try the Walmart Visa when I make my next deposit, but that might be a while. I will, however, report on it when I do try it.

Howdy.. just to let ya'll know CL friends and CL newbies that Greendot Prepaid VISA works for deposit! I used it @ Miami Club and went through w/o a hassle. Here's what I've done:

* purchased Greendot Prepaid Visa @ Walgreens, load it w/ $. I got temporary card that must be registered securely online. Right away, I could use it w/in US businesses only.

* waited 5 days via snail mail and the VISA card had a different account #. And also, needs to be registered.. just follow the instruction and you're done. Btw, you can choose your PIN.

NOTE: there is a 3% Foreign Fee. The $5.95 monthly charge can be waived if you have used 30 purchases or services in a month or load up $1000. You can also reload this using Moneypak from Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or convenient stores for $4.95. They also accept checks but your bank may charge an ACH fee. I think I would go with my bank debit card reload only $2.99 fee directly on Greendot website. Good to know direct paycheck deposit is FREE! You don't have to deposit everything, just a small %.. bwa-hahah!

Hope this helps! 😂

NOW I just wanted to find a casino that has the PAYTOCARD option for a prepaid card. That is my dream: to deposit AND withdraw with the same prepaid card. Am I asking too much? 🤷 🙂

I am not sure if online casinos would deposit it back to a prepaid card.. anyone knows? IThe Greendot gives you a Routing # and a Direct Deposit number, different from your account VISA # when you received the card thru mail.

Bank wire transfer should be safe, not check.. 🤔 it may bounce!

Further verification, you can NOT use the Greendot Prepaid VISA you just purchased from the store @ online casinos although you have registered it.. I repeat, you have to wait for another Greendot Prepaid VISA with a different account # on it that will be mailed to you 5 to 7 business days.. this is the card you can ONLY use for online casinos since they are off shore.
