New format for tournies @ club World

11 replies • Last post

I tried the new tournaments at club world...just the penny rollers and it is quite fun. You can request a re-buy if you want to try again up to 5X i think it was and they have added some new games like t-rex and paydirt so it was a nice change of pace.

Yeah, I noticed the re-buy feature, even on the free tournaments, which is nice. They record your highest score, so you have even more chances. Not that impressed with TRex or PayDirt, but oh well. lol Those are just not favorites of mine. 🙂

It seems alotta the casinos are going to this formatting...slotastic has, slotocash has and club world. so if its a bigger prize pool you better have your coffers filled so you can add-on. 😉

I actually don't know if I like this new feature or not now, just because of this. If I keep telling myself "just one more try," I can burn up WAY too much time, lol, where as before I had the one chance and it was over.

I just played one at Slot O Cash and I actually had enough time to play all the credits, so maybe they have finally wised up and decided to give us enough time to play through the credits. I resisted playing another 20 minute tournament! lol

Well, I just ended 20th out of 846 playing the Triple Twister free tournament at Slot O Cash. I will be satisfied with that. Those tournaments are SO much longer than those at Club World, that it is much easier with the CW ones to say "just one more try," lol I was hoping to jump to first place, but that is not bad out of all those people, and I think I still have one left to play today at Slot O Cash if I find time or need a little break.

I am kicking myself for not withdrawing a smaller amount on my free chip at Lucky Red, but I just kept trying to get that balance up over 200 bucks, and I played for SO long, then finally lost it all. 😢 I wish I had just withdrawn even 100 and taken the free money, but live and learn, I guess. 😕

It does take will power to cash out unless its large. there have been many times when I should have and didn't but thats gambling right and you had fun on a free chip!!!
I played a tournament at Slotastic which ended sunday morning. It was a week long and I placed third. now the tourny isn't listed on my screen and they have yet to pay me. I placed third for 61.60. it was one of those re-buys and i bought in 3 times for 7.50 plus the 2.50 to join. I have contacted live chat and support...still no word 😨 👎 I just started playing there so it has me somewhat concerned.

LOL! I was down to ZERO at Club World, so I didn't think I could play anymore tournaments without making a deposit. Signed on today, and I won 35 cents yesterday, so I live to play some more penny tournaments. haha ! 🙂

I do think the new format is making it more difficult to win, because so many are doing the add ons and rebuys, and their totals are in the hundreds of thousands to win. So unless you have some money to keep playing, chances of a bigger win are greatly reduced. We were all on 'equal ground" before and now not as much.

I agree Hope. You do need a small bank roll in order to place in those tournies. Kinda takes the fun out of it at least for me. I wish they would have some with no add ons once in awhile.

Well the one I won I did not add on, so I was shocked that I stayed in first place, so I guess it does happen. One nice thing is the Club World gives you five tries for only a penny each time, whereas the addons and rebuys can cost more than I want to pay. You just have to keep playing until you win enough to afford some rebuys. Although I did ONE rebuy yesterday (Gold Beard) and it made no difference at all in my place.

I do agree it would be nice to be on equal footing for at least a few tournaments.
