Bonus Rounds

30 replies • Last post

They just do not seem to be what they used to be. Like I said in another thread, I feel like I am playing at LAND CASINOS lately, and this is no fun at all.

I just cashed in my comps at Lucky Red, went to Lucky Last and hit the bonus on my second spin. I was only betting 25 cents, because of the low amount I started with, but after 28 spins, because it re-triggered FOUR times, and at 25 cents per line but prizes tripled during spins I ended up with..............

Total: 10.45 you have to be kidding me? Kind of takes the fun out of all that re-triggering! 😢

Grateful it didn't eat up my few dollars immediately, but this is happening all the time to me lately, and no big hits outside the bonus rounds either.

I just don't get it. Is it just me? lol

I've got to agree with you 100%, Hope. I myself though have never experienced a gangbusters round. My wins are generally modest anyway, and that really does take away from my enjoyment of the slot.

the nuworks games seem to do nice in the bonus rounds if you are betting over 2cents per line. at a quarter the bonus rounds are lame but I figure if I get 25 times my bet its a good round!!! 🤑

I swear in the last two months things have changed drastically from when I first started. Maybe even longer now. I wonder if they have tightened slots or if it is just me having a run of bad luck (or previously a short run of good luck?). I can't explain it, but it is so drastically different, it is almost as if the places I play have changed, not just my luck, if that makes sense.

Maybe I will have to try something different and hope my luck changes when I get back to depositing again. 🙂

I know I haven't had good luck at any of the RTG's in a long while. I have only ever cashed out @ club world a few times (3 I think) one was for 272 I won on that diamond game and then a couple others when I had a bonus and made it thru play thru but they were maybe a little over a 100. and then of course I did well at those rogues but I haven't played at any of those in months.

OMGosh, I just had the WORST bonus round in HISTORY, lol!

I hit a few times (still playing with those few dollars from my comps) on Lucky Last and the few bonus rounds were only a few bucks. Playing 50 cents, I hit again and after SEVEN spins I ended up with........................are you ready?...........
FORTY CENTS! I kid you NOT! WTH is going on? 🤷 😢

I am telling you something has changed from when I first started playing Club World casinos, and I am thinking it is NOT just me.

I just went to the Santa Strikes Back game, hit the bonus on my first spin, retriggered twice, for a total of 21 games (at 50 cents) and ended up with 14.38. That just never happened before. I have no idea what is going on, lol, and I know it is better than nothing, but it is still taking the 'fun" out of playing all these games I used to love.

Have you tried Manhatten Slots Hope. Maybe they have loosened up there or at Alladdins Gold while the others have tightened. 🤷 I don't think it is just you......but I have not played at any Club World casinos lately except Buzzluck where I busted early on with my 50 dollar deposit with the no play thru bonus.

LW, I have only played at Manhatten Slots a few times, and they were tight. But that was a long time ago. I don't think I have ever deposited at Alladin's Gold, only played with free chips, if I remember right. High Noon was tight for me, also. Starting to think maybe it is just me. lol

Buzzluck is not Club World, is it? I thought it was not associated with Club World?

Where did you just play where you made that incredibly high play through? I thought that was Buzz Luck, but maybe it was Lucky Club? I will have to go look in the Perpetual Winners thread again to refresh my terrible memory, lol

I think Buzzluck is World Online, which is the same group that runs High Noon and the like; so yes, same people.

I guess I learn something new every day. lol I thought High Noon was part of Club World groups, but I guess the reason I thought Buzzluck was different was due to the different games.

Interesting info ahead...

Most RTG games have 3 different payout settings. From memory they are something like 92.5%, 95%, and 97.5%. 95 is the default. Individual casinos can change the payout on a game by making a request to RTG who do it for them. So they cannot change the setting immediately and whenever they like (and they can't "death-switch" an individual player as I have heard conspiracy theorists claim) but there is a process that allows it to be changed.

So it is possible that the payout rate can change on the same game at the same casino over time, and you can get a better payout at a different RTG casino at the same point in time on the same game. The usual way to alter the payout rate is to add or remove a symbol from one of the reels. So in theory, if they do alter a reel to achieve the payout difference, you could work out the better paying casinos by tediously analysing and mapping the reel strip layouts and comparing them.

Also, I noticed it's getting lousy on Club World penny tourney. It's a red flag for me not to deposit there, if I can not get a % return.

So if the casino is getting gouged on one game, they can lower the payout rate? And those games aren't the same from casino to casino? This would make me more likely to stay at one casino over the next if the payout rates are higher.

They do publish that info, right?

Yes they can lower the payout rate, or more specifically they can request that RTG does it for them.

And no, I am not aware of any RTG casino that publishes payout statistics for individual games. In fact I don't know of any that publish aggregated monthly payout stats either. I was actually speaking to someone who works for an RTG group about this very thing the other day - I'm trying to get them to publish the numbers. They aren't keen though, and with little or no regulation upon casinos accepting U.S. players, there is no-one to force them to either.

3Dice is not an RTG casino, but they accept Americans and they publish detailed stats on their Zeitgeist page. It makes for interesting reading.

When I was at a land based casino here in MI I noticed some of the new games have payout per centages on them with recent jackpot hits as well. I was interesting.

Yes it was Slim. I know one of the games is napolean and there are other ones like it with different names in a row that have those stats on them.

I have seen those occasionally at Soaring Eagle, although not every game has stats posted to the sides of them. I know they have their "Certified Hot" machines which are supposed to be set to the highest payout possible, but I don't seem to hit bonus rounds any more frequently on them.

I live about a half hour from the Soaring Eagle, maybe I should head over there to see just how many games have the stats posted to them.

I just hit an AWESOME bonus round, and it is about time, peeps! 🙂

I had JUST Posted about how my free offer from Lucky Red was winding down. I tried a few hands of blackjack, and broke even, so I was going to play around with video poker, but it would not load. So I decided to play my good old friend Fruit Frenzy (I LOVE shooting that cute little strawberry out of the cannon, lol).

Well, I hit FOUR pineapples across a line with one symbol in between, and I just kept shooting that strawberry out of the cannon until I had won 50 games! And BEFORE The bonus round, just from hitting the pineapples lined up, I started out the bonus round with 46.80! Woot! I know it is isn't a tremendous amount, but better than I have hit for a long time. And good thing I started with that amount, because after 50 free spins, I ended up with a TOTAL of 69 something, so I really only made 23 something on 50 spins. LOVED hearing that circus music playing while those reels were spinning and I am alive to play another day. haha! 😉

Thanks, Lucky Walker! I could sure use one about now.

I just hit another decent bonus round at Slot O Cash! I was down to like 30 dollars and something and decided to try Gold Beard of all games! I hit the bonus and I had 13 bucks before going into the bonus just from what I hit, and I had 14 free spins. I ended up with a 49.98 bonus round, which is the kind of decent bonus rounds I was USED to getting at the online casinos. Like I said, nothing spectacular, but better than 10 bucks and under. Some have been just lame. Maybe I need to keep complaining loudly! lol!

Gold Beard random jackpot is over 17,000 right now. That would be a nice little holiday gift! 😉

I am hanging in there at both places, but barely: up and down. You know how it goes.

I need Lady Luck and Lucky Luddha to keep shining down on me! 🙂

And to add: on Gold Beard, I kept trying to go up to a dollar for a few spins, and I wouldn't hit a thing. But when I went back down to 60 cents a spin I was hitting some decent wins, even a 16 dollar spin outside the bonus round.

Maybe its time for the games that we don't normally hit on to win, like Goldbeard, crystal waters, Roland, etc? Have you ever played that penquin game. I have been thinking about that one lately.

I haven't done well on the Penguin game.

Good old Gold Beard has me up to $170.00! lol! But last night, I just kept going up and down between $150 and $180. I wanted to get over 200 dollars before I went to bed, so bad that I stayed up too late last night. lol

I was never a huge Gold Beard fan, but after playing it in a couple tournaments, something told me to try it, and it is delivering some decent (halfway decent compared to recently) bonus rounds and even a few good hits outside the bonus round. Now I need a really BIG hit so I can cash out more than 100 bucks. I would love to cash out at least 200 , but we will see.

Yes, FAR too long. I am debating on just withdrawing 100 dollars, since it will be "free' money, but then I would have to turn around and deposit more. lol So I was trying SO hard to get up over 200 dollars, and now I am at about 125.00 or so today, up and down again. I need that BIG win! 🙂
