NEW Discussion on PrePaid cards w/QUESTIONS! :) (Esp 4 Ubetcha, VP Royal, LuckyWalker)

21 replies • Last post

Hello CL Friends,

I thought we had a thread regarding casinos NOT taking prepaid cards, then someone posted there was a certain prepaid card they used and did not have a problem with.

I would really like to learn more about this, because this would definitely be my preferred option.

I found the following messages in this thread:

http://www.casinolistings.com/casinos/3dice-casino-review

I hope you all don't mind that I am copying and pasting your conversations here, but I have a few questions about these comments from Ubetcha, VP Royal, and LuckyWalker:

Ubetcha: Inever use my credit card. I go to any CVS Pharmacy or Walgreens Pharmacy and purchase a VISA gift card by Gift2Go with no "Green Dot". They have $25, $50 or you can tell the cashier how much money you put in it up to $100. So, make sure to read the front & back if it has a "Green Dot" don't get it 'cause it won't work internationally.

BTW, they will only accept cash or debit card for payment. You can then register your VISA gift card online so you can be protected, track your spending and check your balance. Here's the link: http://www.awards2go.net//
Y'all take care.. =^. .^=

VPRoyalFlush: that's right! The credit cards interest and fees are awful.. too!

Ubetcha: Another VISA Gift Card I used is Vanilla Visa https://www.vanillavisa.com/product.html at my local CVS Pharmacy. There is a small fee for each gift card depending on how much the amount you're going to purchase. Hope this helps.
Y'all take care.. =^. .^=

VP Royal: from now on just use paste and pay its simple and easy. Just cashed out friday night after getting really really lucky.

Lucky Walker: Another great method to use to deposit is Netspend prepaid visa. You can sign up online. they mail you your card( comes in about 4 days) you activate it on line and can load it with your bank account or PAYPAL which is my preferred method.

this is an extremely safe method especially using Paypal. I was using pasteandpay vouchers with my paypal acct and recently they informed me this is no longer an option due to "technical" difficulties.

Ubetcha: Okay. I am wondering first, Ubetcha, do all of the above prepaid cards still work for you? Do the casinos still accept them.

VP Royal: What is "paste and pay?" 🤷

Lucky Walker: I know you are using the mypaylinQ or whatever it is called. Why did you stop the Netspend prepaid Visa? Does that method still work and can it still be loaded through paypal?

I know I have tons of questions, but I would really like to change to a prepaid card, if possible. I feel it is more private and it would be nice for budgeting, too, when I have a little extra cash to put on a prepaid card.

Curious minds want to know! 🙂 😎

Okay Hope I have never tried to get a payout to my netspend card cuz it says no withdrawals paid to prepaid so I didn't know if it would work but I have deposited every where with it. since my paylinq has been greened up I use that cuz as we discussed earlier it costs 20 dollars for them to wire you money via moneygram so I didn't want to waste my 20 as I would eventually put it thru the casinos anyways so unless it gets in the 1k range I will leave it for future months to play.
I can answer the pasteandpay question as well I used that cuz sometimes like at Lucky Club minimum deposit using card is 45 so I would go and buy a voucher @ pasteandpay and then use it @ the casino cuz you can purchase 5 to I think 500 dollar voucher and the casinos will except minimum of 5 bucks I think but you can NOt get a payout in this form! Pasteandpay.com

Hoping this answered some of your questions. Here in the US unless you want to tie payouts to your bank accts or real debit card the options are limited.

I have a payout pending @ buzzluck maybe I should try to have them put it on my prepaid to see if it will go. I just don't want it to end up in limbo somewhere.

I just want to find a PREPAID card that casinos would accept. All this other is too confusing for my fragile mind, lol, and I that would be the best option for me, bar none.

I don't like the click to pay or the mypaylinq or sending in my info to all these other places, second party. Scary enough that some of the casinos have it, which is why I go with highly reviewed. We are always taking a chance, no matter what, so I just hesitate to sign up with these places.

My paylinq wanted me to purchase something online in ADDITION to my deposit at a casino which they told me would NOT count toward a purchase unless the person I got misinformed me. Turned into one big headache for me.

For me, simple is best. lol Prepaid card would be even better (fingers crossed).

Netspend can be purchased @ speedway or if you go online they will mail to you. you can then load it @ any speedway for 3.95. if you use your speedy card the 5th reload is free. works everywhere. I will PM you a referral link if you want then if you deposit on the card 40 dollars you will get 20 free and so will I. 🙂 You just have to use the referral link, I think.

You can PM the referral link if you would like, and I promise to at least check it out. Is this like Super America's speedy card? Don't worry. I will check it out and get back to you after you send me the link. So it also works at all casinos?

Sounds like an option if you don't have to send a bunch of documentation.

Early night tonight. I am watching my Sunday night show then going to sleep. 😴

Yep, it's getting harder to deposit nowadays. I'm stuck with my $50 VISA gift card.. it's not the solid online casinos that declines it, it's the bank! I finally read, buried on the fine print about "We may decline authorization for any illegal transaction, including, but not limited to any internet gambling transaction". Apparently they noticed most transactions were coming from Antilles.. 😂 😲 B-I-N-G-O! These banks don't wanna be on a hot water with the Big Brothers.. 😉

Please let me know CL friends if Netspend still works. How's their registration process? Do you have to send them your personal documents? I'm leaning towards Entropay. Please read below:

luckywalker, does the Netspend really work? What sites do you use it at?

Send me a referral link, I would be willing to try that. Gotta bet on the Tigers and my sites are being picky about taking bets from MasterCards right now.

You seem to like this form of payment. Do you have to send in a bunch of documents and are there some crazy conditions before you can deposit or withdraw? And can you BOTH deposit AND withdraw using pasteandpay, VP? From what I have read from you once signed up, is it a fast method of withdrawal? 🤷

So they don't accept any of the prepaid (or prepaid doesn't accept the withdrawals, I mean) for any of the cards you listed above?

nope, they just charge your card once under 5 dollars, it is refunded after you give them the 4 digit code that appears in the billing line, and then your verified. I can use my card, and it's secure. For withdraw I use pay my card, through the club world casinos since I have made a deposit with my bank card with them, and 3dice just sends me the cash. I do not think you can withdraw through them. But payment is immediate through the casinos.

Sorry, but I am really confused. I am asking about just 3Dice. You use Visa to deposit there and a check to withdraw, is that correct? Just trying to be clear and understand.

Then you use paymycard at Club World? Yikes, I am getting a headache trying to figure all this out! lol 🤢

Haha, it is complicated Hope.

I appreciate the link luckywalker, I will try to get one here soon. Maybe we can make a database for these cards. We have talked about it before on these forums, maybe it is time to actually do it.

Sounds like a great idea and it seems anytime something different comes out there are alot more questions and people wanting to change the way they do things. It is just hard in the US and I think that is because the government wants to track winnings etc....just may be a conspiracy theory but I think they want to find a way to track winnings for taxes etc like they do now here in MI for shopping online and not paying sales tax.

Thanks!

. Forgive me for asking so many questions, but can you explain what the "cash option" is? Is that a check, bank wire, MoneyGram, etc.?

Do you win at 3Dice. I have been reading some really GOOD things in some forums, then in others saying they are very tight. I have been thinking about checking them out, so thanks for your patience with all the questions. 🙂

Yes, it IS confusing. I am a "one thing at a time" type of person, and I really opened up a can of worms here. lol!

I think I belong in the olden days when there weren't so many choices. I get dizzy when I go shopping, sometimes, too, lol. I get so easily overwhelmed with decisions and too many choices/options. lol

Ok, I have officially started recording some of these on an Excel sheet on my computer. I will track what I can for the PREPAID cards from what you guys share as well as my personal experiences from what I buy. I have been lax on doing the cards in the past as I get sidetracked and end up just making a normal deposit with one of my cards, lol.

Give me a little time and I will share it once it fills out a bit.

Thanks Ed. Let me say that I need as much input from you guys as possible on this one.

There are simply too many cards for me to tackle them all, so let me know which ones you are using, whether or not it is a Visa or MasterCard, what casinos it works at, and any other notes.

I am going to try and tackle the Chase Liquid, WalMart Money Card, and AccountNow prepaid gift cards.
