Does anybody here have tried using OKPay ?

12 replies • Last post

I received this email today from my Club World inbox :

We are pleased to announce the launch of OKPAY - an excellent new method to cash out and manage your casino funds.

Fully Guaranteed

OKPAY guarantees the balance of your account by holding hard currency in offshore bank accounts to the total value of all their client accounts.

Easy Withdrawals

OKPAY offers easy withdrawals anywhere in the World. Order a Wire Transfer and have the funds sent straight to your bank, or order a Western Union / MoneyGram and go collect the cash from your local store.

Instant and Free Transfers

Funds transferred to and from your casino balance using OKPAY are available instantly – no more waiting for transfers to clear or credit card declines. Plus we will cover all the fees for these wallet transactions.

30 Second Signup

Creating your OKPAY account is very quick and so simple to do. Just visit their website and click the signup button. Then enter your name, email address, create a password and you are ready to start accepting funds!

So the next time you withdraw funds from the casino, choose OKPAY! Visit their website to create your account at https://www.okpay.com/en/index.html

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to contact our customer services team,

Kind Regards
Tom

I was declined using my CU debit VISA card. Got bombarded by fraud alert calls from my bank security, just making sure I authorized the charge offshore..

I would be extremely cautious about using any e-wallet service if I was using it for gambling from inside the USA. There are potential problems such as funds seizures (eg eWalletXpress and Quicktender), the e-wallet just up and disappearing with your money, and long hold times on the money before you can withdraw it. For example MyPaylinq can make you wait something like 45 days after withdrawing from a casino to your MPL account before you can withdraw from MPL to your bank. That is a long time in between where a number of things mentioned above could go wrong and you end up with your money stuck in limbo.

If you must use such a service, make sure that there is no long hold period on withdrawals and withdraw the money to your bank account or wherever as soon as it hits the OKPay account. I would stick with credit or debit card deposits where possible and cheque or wire withdrawals myself though.

I use my paylinq acct for small wins as it is my seed money for online gaming and its quick and easy. I didn't realize the waiting period to get it out of there so I will use wire or a different method for bigger wins (which I am hoping to get real soon here) Smile

I saw that new announcement at Club World and Lucky Red. They are promoting the new pay "wallet." If i don't have to use the "middle man" then I don't. I would only use something like that if i had no other options.

For example, they made my PaylinQ sound so good and when I tried to sign up there were all these crazy conditions placed on my account before I could get my withdrawal and it made me so angry I did not proceed.

LMBO! I kid you NOT. I just rubbed the lucky coin and gave a little belly rub, then rubbed the screen at the Lucky Last game and said, "lucky coin, belly rub," and I hit the bonus feature. I am LMAO here!

I won 7 free games and a total of $14.88. Not the best round in the world, but hey, I will take ANY free spins and money.

So PLEASE now you cannot change your avatar. haha! Smile

Now I just hit the feature again, retriggered in the feature for a total of 14 free games............so far. I am honestly LOVING your Buddha and LMAO here!

Just retriggered AGAIN, but so far only 12 dollars and something for 21 free games. REALLY? I don't know Sad

But I just won seven more, because it retriggered AGAIN! lmbo!

$17.36 for 28 free games. That is NOT good, but it is better than nothing, I guess.

I am actually kind of angry about the email I received. I will post it tomorrow. They made it sound like they will have trouble if I try to withdraw using other methods including my favorite PaytoCard. I wrote back and gave them a piece of my mind, but I was sooo tired I don't think it came out right. lol I am going to respond to them when I feel better and I will post their message here. It really p'd me off! Sad

I went to the okpay site and they do offer a debit card so you could just transfer onto that and use @ will. there was a 15 dollar card fee and some smaller fees attached for loading etc but it looked like it might have more accessibility than paylinq. I am considering this as an option as I don't think I will be out of the online gaming thing anytime soon. Wink

Many thanks to the posters here Red Rose and all your wonderful insights! I'm also extremely cautious what and where to give away personal info online.. I can only imagine, identity theft is not a fun thing to deal with.

Y'all take care.. =^. .^=
