It is always good to see new people here. The more people on the site, the better.

I am sure CL-Ed sees this more often than not. I have hit the "report" button a few times. lol

I agree that the more the merrier in regard to the newbies, though! I wish everyone who signed up would become and STAY active. 🙂

Wow, I never even noticed the "report" button before. I learn something new every day. Welcome to the newbies, the ones that aren't spammers.

You guys wouldn't believe the number of spammers and fake accounts we have to deal with. It is quite ridiculous. We have done quite well over the years in working out ways of dealing with the automated spamming programs and bots that hit us every single day but we can't do much about real people that are paid to spam apart from blocking them afterwards and deleting their posts.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
Post in our forums to earn CLchips which can be used to buy real prizes in our CLchips shop.

Like I said, I am sure they keep you busy! 😢

Interesting thread. What's a troll?

btw, you may or not know that I'm having trouble finding the PM button. Well guess what??? I don't see a "report" button either, altho my pea brain remembers seeing one back when I signed up as well as the PM. Am I the only one with this problem? Could it have anything to do with my recent puter issues?

The "report button" should be at the bottom of a post, in the row with report, thanks, reply, and quote. "Send PM" should be under each user name in a post, so if you look under your name, I can see "send PM." Also, if you go to your name at the very TOP of the page, you can scroll over it to see your account and it should also say "messages" among other things. You can send a message to someone from there, too, or receive your messages.

I hope this helps, but if you aren't seeing what I am seeing, then post in the "Help and Disputes" section so CL-Ed can help you.

Oh, and a "troll" is someone who joins to either SPAM the forums or do something else for their own benefit, like collect points. get people to join something or buy something or whatever. Someone who is not joining solely to be part of the CL family and post and interact in the forums.

In online role playing games a troll is someone who intentionally starts arguments for their own pleasure and those in on the trolling. A very common troll in the mmorpg world is, "They call it an Xbox 360 because its so bad you do a 360 and walk away."
We all know that 180 degrees would be the proper term for walking away not 360, but any one correcting this would be trolled as it the trolls intention to start the disagreement.
