Another one falls for it!

13 replies • Last post

So as the title suggest, I fell for a scam. It is usually highly unlikely for me to have this issue but this time I did. I have been a registered player at Bingo-Knights for years now. I have only ever deposited 20 or so dollars. Well about a month ago, I came into some disposable cash. I decided to play Bingo. Well, seeing how I have only ever played a Bingo Knights, I figured I'd play there.

I logged in and contacted Live Help. Told them I wanted to deposit 20 dollars and play. They said sure, but if I deposited 200 dollars, I would get a higher % of bonus bucks as a welcoming back gift. So I said sure. I ended up getting my 200 dollars plus 1750 Bonus bucks.

That sounds like a lot, but the guy told me at any time as long as I had 100 dollars in my account I could request a withdraw of my CASH value but would need to throw away my Bonus Bucks. I also read that I needed to bet at least 30 times before requesting withdraw.

I was fine with all the above mentioned rules and set out to play. I auto payed for like 1000 bingo cards - to auto play the jackpot games. Then I went right into roulette. I immediately won 1200 dollars there, and then eventually lost all of it plus all of my bonus bucks. I was sad, but I understood and was prepared to lose it all.
MY BALANCE WAS ZERO!

Well come to find out the next day, I logged on and noticed 800 dollars sitting in my account. I checked my gaming history, and apparently I had won the jackpot in two games and won a bunch of smaller pots. The money had been legitimately won using CASH(NO Bonus Bucks, as I prepaid for those cards and the balance came directly out of my cash balance not Bonus Bucks balance) and I wagered over 30 times. Roughly about 120 times including everything from roullette and the 40 or so games I prepaid.

I requested a withdraw. I had already turned in all my documents. They then claimed I was missing the Authorization form. So I resubmitted that document. like 5 times. Finally a month later, they tell me they have the document but my wagering is short by $50,000 USD. OMG! WHAT!

HOW IN THE WORLD DO I WAGER 50,000 USD! I nearly had a heart attack.

Supposedly, they do not mean wager 30 times , they mean wager 30 times the amount in your account at the time of deposit. So;
30 times $1950 USD. Which is about 58,000 dollars!

This company is mad. I wish I would of found this site before depositing there, but sadly I didn't. I have spoken to about 6 people and finally just filed a formal complaint but Im sure the same people Ive spoken to is the same people who deal with the formal complaints.

I am out 200 dollars but hopefully others will not be after seeing this forum posting!

I am so very sorry to hear this. It does make me appreciate the honest places all the more and those with honest and helpful customer service. That play-through is impossible, and yes, I believe they deceived you.

I believe CL-Ed has mentioned Bingo Knights in the past, and he may have some input from you.

I do appreciate it when anyone posts a warning to help others.

Better luck next time at a more reputable place!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments!

I am not much for online gambling as I like to be in the action on land, so I probably won't be trying any online sites anytime soon. I just hope to help at least one person avoid these scammers... Its really sad. 🙂

It seems like a like of people end up here AFTER they feel they have been scammed. That is sad. I wish more people knew about Casino Listings, and which casinos to avoid.

Sorry for your loss Josh. I'm glad it was not more. We have had several people win money legitimately online. Maybe you could try some of the casinos suggested here, but I understand you might not want to take another chance.

Thanks for your post. I'm sure it will help someone else.

Hey Josh. That sucks to hear, and unfortunately it is something we hear about a lot here. The terms and conditions at casinos can be tricky, so make sure to be careful before you deposit or take a promotion. They all have the rollover wagering requirement, and they all can vary.

That is why I almost never take a bonus. If I win, I want it to be mine; not let the casino try to make me wager more to get it out.

Make sure to check this site out though. There are lots of good casinos here that offer bingo and other games. 🙂

Yup. I stopped being tempted by bonuses now, too, unless the play-through is VERY low. I don't want to win a huge jackpot, then have restrictions on how much I can withdraw.

Sorry I missed this one as I have been sick for the best part of the last week.

Although we don't really follow bingo much here, I do know that Bingo Knights are owned by the Virtual Casino Group, the shonky casino kings. Think Cool Cat Casino, Palace of Chance etc. Same people, same modus operandi.

Aside from that, one thing you must always be aware of when claiming a bonus are the terms attached. A common trick the casinos use is to advertise a bonus as requiring 20x wagering. However, 20x the bonus is not the same as 20x the bonus plus your deposit (and they often mean that 2nd scenario). That is the reason why all the bonuses on our site here are recalculated and expressed as a multiple of the bonus only. It makes it easier for you to compare offers.

For example, with a 100% up to $100 bonus that you deposited and claimed the maximum to have $200 to play with:

- At 20xB, the wagering would be 20x $100 = $2000.
- At 20x(D+B), the wagering would be 20x ($100 + $100) = $4000.

The 2nd scenario is twice as bad obviously. On our site however we would list it as 40xB as that is the true measure of the requirements.
