888casino Jackpots

3 replies • Last post

Hi, im new to this forum and i tried to find a searchfuntion for the forum to search for my question. Unfortunately i didnt.

Well my Question is about the 888casino Jackpots. I found already some trackings of jackpots on this page http://www.casinolistings.com/jackpots/random-logic . But there are some more JackpotGames when i open the 888casino. For example the Marveljackpotgames (spiderman,hulk,fantastic4,thor), leprechauns luck, chainreactors, supercubes, four sportgames which got same jackpot size and some other jpgames.

Why cant i see a tracking of them here?
Is it because you arent tracking them?
Are the games just from an external casino? (My english is bad, but i mean: Is the game itself from another casino but might 888 have rights to use this game at their casinos)
If that is the reason, how can i find out from which casino they use the game?
I noticed that some (but not all) of the listed games are missed in the English version, might this be a reason?

Thanks for your help.

Hi there Barillest. The explanation is simply that at the time we added the 888 jackpots they did not have those games you mentioned in their casino. We'll add a todo in our system to see if we can start tracking those extra jackpots.

Ok, thats nice. Anyway is there a tutorial how to track jps myself? Because i would espcially like to track the small hero jackpot since i dont play at higher stakes. I am familiar to C++ and mysql databases. But i dont know where to pick the data from.

Finding the data is just about the hardest thing! There is not really a "one size fits all" tutorial, as sometimes you need to process XML, sometimes HTML, sometimes regular expressions from text etc.

I have just checked the source of our 888 jackpots and it is an XML feed but it only has the jackpots that we track in it, and they are all games developed in-house by 888. The other jackpots you mentioned look to be supplied under license from other software developers - for example the Marvel ones are from Cryptologic.

We actually track Cryptologic's Marvel jackpots too, and the values will be different as 888 has their own private pools, but you can see that they are won very frequently:
Marvel Hero Jackpot (Cryptologic)
Super Hero Jackpot (Cryptologic) (the smaller one)

There is also an even smaller jackpot that is won so often for under $100 that we don't bother tracking it.

We're looking into whether we can find a decent source feed for the other 888 jackpots.
