Club World Withdrawal Issues (resolved, but still......)

I requested that my withdrawal be with paymycard on August 9th. I got right on chat yesterday, because I need the money, and they said my card would be approved today, and then the funds would hit my card by the end of the week or beginning of next week.

I logged into Club World this morning to see if it was approved, and much to my surprise my money was back in my account. It still said the entire amount was "withdrawable."

I then went to the withdrawal page, and it was suggesting I chose "pay by courier cheque." So, back on chat I go to find out what the issue is, what is going on. The person tells me there is an "issue" with paymycard. I asked if it was just my card, and he said, no, it was the casino's issue with that type of withdrawal.

Paymycard has only a $9.00 fee, and at first I thought I was going to have pay a $25.00, but that is for withdrawals $750.00 and under, so I barely made the cut off. I have never had a cheque delivered by Fed Ex before and this person assures me it will take only 5 days. My problem, NOW, will be trying to cash the thing without a bank account. I hope I don't have issues with that!

Has anyone ever gotten a cheque? Is it actually FROM the casino? Did you have problems with the check at all? Any information you have would be helpful, because I am now worried I will have a check that I cannot cash!!! Help!

Anyway, a few things:

They claim the "paymycard issue" will be cleared up "in a few days," and he would not tell me what the problem was, even though I asked at least three times, lol.

Also, if anyone else has received their payment by "courier cheque," please clue me in as to what to expect.

What could be going on with the "paymycard" issue. Any ideas?

P.S. I chatted with at least four different customer service reps from Club World in the past few days, and all are extremely helpful and polite.

Sorry you are having such a problem getting your money. Do you ever wonder if some casinos stall on purpose thinking you will play that money back and lose it?

Maybe you can check with Walmart. I think they cash many types of checks, but not 100% sure.

Well I did request Paymycard since they said it was working now. I do cash checks at Walmart, but I am not sure about these checks, since I have never received one from a casino before.

As you are in the USA I would be very surprised if the cheque is in any way identifiable as coming from a casino. It will almost certainly be issued by a shell company.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

Yeah, what Ed said.

When I used to get checks from casinos they were always in a different name than the casino. My most odd check I received came like this:

Mailed from Quebec >Check listed as the Bank of Texas> For a casino listed in the Caribbean! I thought it was very strange, but the check cleared so... meh.

That is good to know. I have been really curious about the checks if I do end up getting one.

They told CL-ED the paytocard isn't working, which I do not believe because I asked in the last three chats and they all said it is working FINE now. Anyway, it has cleared the withdrawal section but hasn't hit my card yet. I will see if it does or if I receive a check instead. Cant wait to get this money, lol!
