I haven't heard of it before, and even after doing a Google search I couldn't find anything on it... weird! Do you know anything about it? Where is it run out of?

I would stay far away. It looks dodgy to me. The blank page with just a login box makes it look like it has been set up so that only people who are told about it know what it is. i.e. whoever is running it is worried about getting in trouble. Not a good sign.

Very bad sign then. Put it this way - if there is a dispute or they don't pay you, who is going to be able to help you out?

As VPRoyalFlush points out, you need a rep to get you in. It's the best of both worlds - local bookie and online access. The site does not take or pay out any money. It's just for taking and keeping up with wagers. Money is handled locally - cash in person or paypal (or other pay service). So, if you have a rep (generally someone you know) you can trust (and I do) it's a perfect set up. I really enjoy this flexibility.

Works like this: Rep sets you up and sets your limit (mine is 500). Agreement with my rep is this: I get down or up 200, we settle.

I'm not a year round gambler, just college FB, occasional NFL and March Madness, and it go so old calling my wagers in on Saturday AM with my local bookie. Had to listen to the spreads, get put on hold, etc. I actually felt like I was bothering him at times (especially when wagering parlays). I'd only place 2-3 wagers with him for this reason. Red44 makes it so easy plus so many wager variations; teasers, buy points, parlays, etc. Now I'm placing 10-15 wagers ($10-$20 per) on football Saturdays. I just enjoy the action and it makes some games more interesting when you've got a vested interest.

I'm not a rep but sure would like to be. Not sure how it all works just yet but my rep told me if you get x amount of people to sign up under you, you start collecting a % of their losses but have no risk on their winnings. It's sort of like a pyramid in this respect.

If you like a little action and have a rep you can trust, this site makes it a lot of fun.

I hope these comments help someone.

It sounds like no to me hope. It is being very carefully managed to make it hard to discover who is running it and reduce the chances of it being shut down. Think a word-of-mouth sportsbook type thing.

Red44 is very much real and legit. I have been a client for 2 seasons now. Never have I had any issues with getting paid and I have never been hounded after a loss. They collect on Tuesdays and pay on Thursdays. As per pervious comments it its usally around $200 that they pay and collect, everything under that seems to let ride. There has been multiple times that they asked if I wanted to collect and I have been well under $100. I have never been denied my money or had to ask for it twice.

Sorry but it is clearly not "legit", as in a legitimately licensed and regulated online sportsbook. It is not open to the public, there is absolutely no information about who runs it, where it is located, how to contact them etc. This screams "illegitimate" regardless of whether they pay their clients or not.

A quick ping shows that their server is in Costa Rica, which as we know is home to all manner of crooked casinos and sports books, along with a few good ones. If whoever owns the site decides to pull up sticks and disappear with the money, who are you going to turn to, to get your money back?

I'm happy if you're happy but please don't kid yourself that you're dealing with a legal and legitimate sportsbook here.

🙂 Hey no worries, its all good. I just don't want anyone to get the wrong impression. The reality is that it is debatable whether almost any sportsbook, casino, or poker room that still accepts Americans is "legit" but some are more publicly visible and accountable than others I guess.

Thanks for your kind words about the site.
