Club Gold Casino: heard anyone about?

8 replies • Last post

I recently joined Club Gold casino (is it a new Playtech?-there is no review here).
Nice graphics, quick support (chat,e-mail & phone).
First deposit (& more) bonus wagering requirements (WR) are maybe the worst: 400% up to $2000,
But WR: 55x(deposit+bonus) within 20 DAYS (for Roulette & Card games, only 10% of the wagering counts).
So, if one deposits 400$ he will have to wager 55x(400+1600)x10=$1,100,000 within 20 days for Card & Roulette!!! That is $55,000 per day.

Could you write a review about it?

Hi dante72, and welcome to Casino Listings! I myself have never heard of Club Gold, but it looks like Club Gold is licensed by Malta.

That wagering requirement is insane! I wouldn't play that bonus no matter what. There are several casinos on this site that have a playthrough of 30x or close to it.

Once again, welcome to the site and I hope that you will stick around and get to know all of us on the site. The members here are really quite nice!

Without doing a full review on it, I took a quick look and I don't like it for several reasons. They are actually run by a company in Cyprus and they are licensed in the Netherlands Antilles, not Malta. That is quite unusual for a Playtech casino, as most of them are usually licensed in Europe.

Check out these rules from their T&Cs page:

Quote:

3.18. ... the maximum amount which may be withdrawn from Your Player Account in any one calendar month shall be EUR 5,000 (including winnings) unless prior arrangements for a larger amount have been agreed with the Casino.

That is a minuscule monthly withdrawal limit. It gives me the impression that the casino is not well funded. They don't have the common Playtech clause that says that the withdrawal limit includes progressive winnings, but then again they don't have a clause that says it doesn't. So I assume it does, which is not good.

Quote:

4.11. ... No outcome of any Game may be disputed by You once a period of 72 hours has elapsed from the time of such outcome.

This one is disturbing. If a bug is found in a game and you find out about it later, the casino is attempting to avoid any obligation to make it right if you don't notify them within 3 days.

Quote:

4.16. A welcome bonus is only valid in respect of Your initial deposit into Your Player Account. The maximum amount of winnings which may be paid by the Casino in relation to any welcome bonus shall not exceed the lower of EUR 5,000 or ten times the amount of Your initial deposit.

Not only do the bonuses have ridiculous wagering requirements that make them more a trap than a genuine offer, but if in the unlikely even that you defy the odds stacked against you and win, the casino caps your winnings. It looks like the bonus is given automatically with your first deposit too, so some unsuspecting players will be trapped by it.

There are several good Playtech casinos around these days. This does not look like it is anywhere near the same standard as a place like Bet365 or Betfred. I would not play there myself.

Thanks for the good in depth look at the casino, Ed. I had just taken a quick look at the casino through the website and got mixed up with Gold Club casino!

If you wouldn't have pointed out that deal with the licensing I totally wouldn't have caught that! I hate when the casinos (or any other company for that matter) have a name so close to another site. That is total BS.

There are so many casinos with similar sounding names that its easy to get them mixed up. It seems you just need to randomly put together any 2 or 3 from Club, Gold, VIP, Red, and Vegas.

Maybe that is why some of those operators come up with LSD inspired names like Loco Panda... you certainly will not be mixing that name up with any others!

Noooooo! Do not play there if you can help it. Read Ed's statement above about their wacky terms.
