Balance Goes To $0, Have You Ever Re-Deposited?

9 replies • Last post

I had a bad run at High Noon last week and quickly ran my balance down to nothing. I was tempted to re-deposit another sum of money but instead thought better of it and went outside for a walk with my iPhone.

I find its better to walk away no matter how dejected I am that I lost. Sometimes it is easy to think your luck will change if you re-deposit.

Have any of you actually re-deposited after losing? What was your outcome?

If I re-deposit , it just seems like I lose. If I am at a casino and the machine won't accept my money, I move on. I feel that someone is telling me I won't win at that machine.

I think you are smart to walk away and do something else. The machines will be there when you get back. It gives you a chance to shake off the losing streak.

I agree. I wait a while in between deposits. It is kind of like chasing that loss if I redeposit or even going "full tilt," right? 😉

I agree you were wise to take that walk. 🙂

Wise move. You should always try to make that decision with a cool head, not if you're annoyed at having a bad run.

Can't say I haven't done it before though! 😳

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

Good move.... anger management is a huge issue in sensible play > never play when p'd off.

It is extremely hard to do but over time build up the discipline to stop on a losing run before you hit zero. The mental benefits to this are vast 🙂

Discipline has never been my strong suit, but I am learning it more and more as I get older (and balder).

Bald is beautiful. 🙂 My boyfriend shaves his head completely.

My dad used to say, "If other men want to waste their hormones growing hair, that is up to them," lol! He made fun of himself and being bald did not seem to bother him, and he was certainly still handsome.

My middle son also lost his hair very young, and he had beautiful hair, but now he shaves close to the head, as well, and he is very handsome (of course, lol!). He also wears all kinds of cool hats and looks good in them.

My son had a receding hairline in his teens! My dad, who died at the age of 65, had a full head of hair. He had very little gray also.
