Mac Casinos

11 replies • Last post

Ok, now that I am going back to the world of Mac computers, are there any internet casinos out there that support the system? Any that still would work on a PPC Mac?

I have seen some poker rooms that supposedly support Macs, but don't have much knowledge on the issue.

Thanks guys!

Do you mean playing on a Mac Slim? If so no worries the only computers (desk and lap) I have ever had have been Macs and I have never had any problems with them gaming online - even yesterday I was playing. I usually use Firefox as it seems to be more efficient than other browsers but maybe thats just me 🙂

If you mean something else then this info will be useless to you lol but let me know what you really mean in more detail and I will see if I can help.

Thanks yellowboots. I was wondering if there are any good poker clients or downloadable casinos that work for gamblers like us. What casinos do you play at on your Mac?

Full Tilt used to have a Mac poker client but obviously that isn't an option any more!

Most casinos don't have one - although I think maybe Tower Gaming has. What I do is run windows inside a VMWare session and then I can use every casino or poker room available for windows. I have never ran into one that didn't work. If you shop around you can get VMWare Fusion for about $30 when its on sale.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I just remembered - if you're running a G5 powermac you won't be able to use vmware as its for Intel macs only.

Ha, I remembered that as soon as I read it.

I found Carbon Poker for the Mac which installed and runs on the G5. I don't know about any others yet, but I will keep searching and update this thread as I find them.

BetOnline also works for Macs. I have gotten it to load and am playing on it as we speak.

I think all no-download casinos work on MAC computes. Net entertainment casino games work on MAC computers. Give it a try.

Yes, EuroCasinoBet, the Net Ent games work like butter on my Mac. They are smooth and clean, even though I have an old computer.

What casinos do you play at on your Mac that utilize the software for it? What kind of mac do you have? Is it a newer one that can run Windows or is it an older PowerPC like I have?

I have found a few that work but not a ton...
