Have Any Of You Used Your Phone To Gamble?

8 replies • Last post

I am curious as to whether or not anyone here has used their smartphone to gamble. Some casinos have mobile versions of their games that you can use to wager.

I will admit to using my iPhone to gamble on my sports book, but can't seem to find a casino that works with it. Any suggestions?

bet365 and bwin have decent versions for mobile phones. On Bwin, it's possible to play slots and others games too. Works very well.

There's one thing you can try to connect to gambling sites that do not accept US players... with a moblile browser called "UC Browser" that hides the IP geografic location.
The last time i traced my ip using this mobile browser, my location was USA. I was using this browser to connect to Titanbet (us players aren't welcome),Few seconds later, recieved in my email an notification saying that i was not allowed to play there and my account was blocked for a while because my IP was from USA.
Another time, my ip was from norway, china, etc... i guess i travel a lot 🙂

The problem is you cannot control the ip location, so maybe it ain´t going to help you to play in gambling sites where us players aren't welcome. and where documentation isn´t required.

I just noticed today that Bovada has an iPhone app. It is pretty slick and I may use it in a pinch for sports wagering. I love seeing these companies finally adopting the mobile market. It is so much more convenient for me to hit my iphone than to log into my laptop just to place a bet.

Now I need a good blackjack live dealer real money app.

I'm not sure whether its the Apple App Store not allowing them or what, but there are hardly any iPhone-specific real money gambling apps. From memory 32 Red released a blackjack app a long time ago but I don't think you can even see it in the app store if you're not in the UK.

Most of the mobile casinos use an outdated WAP interface or they run the games via a special kind of web page. They definitely aren't as slick as a regular iPhone app.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I know I couldn't download the Bovada app from the App Store. I had to go to Bovada's mobile website and then select "save this page" in the menu. It then downloaded the app to my screen!

I agree though, most of the casinos I have seen aren't nearly as cool as an App. Legends gets a kick in the junk for their setup right now... so frustrating!
