Up, Up, Up!

14 replies • Last post

My online blackjack luck has continued today, as I just took home another $150 from Legends on my live dealer blackjack.

I usually have to grind out my wins, but today I got there playing $25 hands. For the year I am up more than $600 (not huge, but good for me).

My luck is probably sure to die soon, but I am having a lot of fun riding this lucky streak!

Bank it slim! Considered dropping back to $5 hands?

Nah, I am happy with the $10's I have been playing. I dig that live blackjack so much, I just take the farthest seat I can from the shoe and hope for the best. Usually there are 7 other people on the tables as they are so crowded over there. Gives me time to consult my strategy and find the right way to do things.

More often than not it has been working out for me. I recently had a 12 versus the dealer showing a two. When I was first starting off I would have stayed, but I followed the chart and hit a 9 for a night ending 21. If I would have just done the basic non strategy thing the dealer would have ended up with that 21.

My new schedule has me attempting this 1-2 times a month. I have busted out only once, and that was because the $10 table was full and I ended up playing the $25 hands and busted out within 5 hands. When I can just keep to the tables and make my own stakes on my terms, I seem to be doing good.

Oh, and a side note: I withdrew funds at 11:30 pm on Thursday and my money was ready for me to get at the Money Gram location at 6:00 pm Friday. Fastest I have ever gotten it!

I think maybe CL-Ed was trying to discourage you from the 25 dollar hands, lol! That is a lot to bet. I am a chicken, which is why I probably do not do well with Black Jack, lol. I usually bet a buck or two when I do play, but it is not my game.

My oldest brother loves to play Black Jack at the Hinkley casino and he often does well. I enjoy watching, but I just never do very well.

Money Gram location? What does that mean? Is that like Western Union, Slim? And what casino was that from if I may ask?

Hope thanks for pointing that out, I had a variation here with my $25 hands as I usually play $10's and may have missed Ed's point, lol.

I agree that $25 is a lot, but there are guys betting $300 and up for hours there. It's nuts to watch them gamble like that!

Ed, what's the average bet you place when you play blackjack?

My brother has told me stories about when he plays up in the high stakes room. I agree it is crazy!

Any answer about the Money Gram thing, B'Slim? Thanks! 🙂

Use your debit or credit card and receive funds within minutes or use your bank account and usually get funds within 3 days.

Couldn't get it to link....will have to be a copy and paste address.

Moneygram is like a Western Union. I usually go to my local Walmart and get the money once it has been wired. I pay a fee for it, and it is kind of steep, but I like having my money within a day or two.

I have heard of that before and seen the signs, so it is like Western Union. That is what I NEED!!! I wonder if I could find a list of online casinos, that accept Americans, that do MoneyGram or Western Union?

Anyone?

Thanks, Slim!
