Tournaments: Favorite places to play?

5 replies • Last post

Hello CL Friends!

I would love to see a list of places in this thread, where people enjoy playing tournaments, slots and other. Please specify what type of tournaments you enjoy playing, as I am mainly looking for slots but open to others, especially the FREE entry types.

I see a few tournaments listed here on CL, but the list seems limited. I know there are more places out there. Of course, for me the list will also have to welcome players from the US of A.

Right now, I play mainly the free tournaments at Slot O Cash, and someone gave me some others in the perpetual winners thread, but again, there have to be more places out there offering free tournaments. I find they are a fun way to get the "bug" out of my system without having to spend my monies.

I hope to receive lots of responses! 🙂

From what I have seen, there aren't a ton of places that have great casino tournaments for us Americans (surprise!). I think I may have recommended 3Dice to you before, but if I haven't try that casino out. They have a HUGE variety of tournaments always going on.

I would be interested to see what else gets posted here. If you know of any, please post them!

Thanks, B'Slim! I miss the casino that had the best tournaments I have ever played, Slots Galore or something like that? Still miss those games, too, because they were different than what I am used to (like at Lucky Red or Slot O Cash) but I actually liked the style of games (Dragon Master, Winter Wonderland to name a few). I don't like to download too many casinos onto my computer at once, but I will check out the tournaments at 3Dice one of these days.

Anyone else have some places where you play tournaments?

I just noticed that 3Dice has a forum. That is kind of cool! However, with as much time as I already spend on the computer, working and playing, I really do not need another place to post, lol. It would be nice, though, for questions and to read about others' experiences at 3Dice.

3Dice really has some cool things going on. I don't understand it all yet, but just signed up. The tournaments and the format are really different. Here is something cool:
They have chat contests where the host will say the person with the highest score on a certain game can win cash. I am sure there are fewer players involved in that so there is a better change to win. A lot going on over there. I will have to learn more about the site and get used to the format.

Yes 3Dice is a far more social kind of casino than most others. It has a lot of ideas that I think I would have tried if I had ever opened my own casino - i.e. lots of chat and interactivity, like you would see at a real casino when you're playing a game at a crowded table. You can even play tournaments in free play mode and win real money if you're lucky. The only main negative is they don't have a lot of games, but the ones that are there are all original.

My favourite tournaments aren't around any more either. The Vegas Tech casinos like English Harbour, Slots Galore etc were probably my favourites. The Cryptologic casinos like Intercasino and VIP Casino had some good ones too but they don't seem to offer them anymore. I liked their format (start with a chip stack and see what you can build) more than the RTG and Microgaming casinos where they just add up the winnings from every spin until your balance runs out (although that is the format commonly used in Vegas).

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
