Internet Connection Slipped During A Hand

6 replies • Last post

I was playing a hand of blackjack the other day and my internet connection dropped. I noticed that the hand was not completed and that my wager is still out there. Should I be able to get my money back for the hand or am I out $10 for the hand?

this happens to me all the time living far up in Norway with bad conections. All serious casinos will save the ongoing hand on a logfile and the game will pop right back up to finish next time you start it. Got a big surprise today when playing a slot game called fruitepunch (or something like that) on casinoroom.com. Apperently I had dropped my concection last time and had just made it to the freespins mode. Well I had also managed to forget all about it.. so today when i started the game it just went straight back in to freespins mode and suddenly gave me 150usd win, wich I could cash out at once! So, yes, all serious casinos will save the bet for you! I recomend www.pafonline.com or www.casinoroom.com as good options and where they for sure will do this to you!

That is good to know Mr. Bingo. I wasn't sure what the answer would be. What a nice surprise for you. Slim, I hope it works out for you too.

Yeah, I logged in today and took a look at my balance and saw that the funds were back in there. Not too shabby, although now I will use them for a sports bet instead of a blackjack game.

Maybe it was a blessing in disguise? Good luck with your sports bet.

I always worried about what would happen if the cause was internet connection. I have had the casino freeze up during free spins in tournaments, and chat said it was the casinos issue that they were "working on" but they offered no compensation. That is why I wondered what would happen if I was in the middle of spins in the regular casino. I figured they would have some "fine print" somewhere, stating it is not their fault, out of their control....
