I used to think that this game was the bee's knees because James Bond played it, but then came to the realization that the player really has no control once the game is in progress. It kind of ruined the game for me a bit, although I still play it from time to time in a casino.
Online baccarat is a different story. I cannot stand the game online. Maybe it is because I have no socialization like I would with a banker or other players, but I really can't get into it.
How about you? Do any of you guys play baccarat online? What do you enjoy about it? What tips would you have for me to enhance my online pleasure with this game.

Forum AngelWell, I cannot persuade you, because I am not familiar with the game, online or otherwise. However, you have piqued my interest, so I will have to read the rules and guidelines here. If I ever decide to give it a try, I will let you know.
That being said, I also have games that I don't like as much online. I DO like Texas Hold'em online and in real life, but for some reason, I like Black Jack better live. I also LOVE playing video poker at the land casino, yet I find it extremely boring online. Funny how that can be.

Depending on where you are the game can be more fun, in my opinion. In some casinos you can bend the cards at baccarat for luck. You can't do this online. Live > Online in this case.
But some games I find more convenient online like blackjack. Of course my new passion is mixing both worlds and taking part in live dealer online blackjack.
Someone please sway me on baccarat! I need to be cool like Bond.

StaffHa. I missed this thread earlier. Baccarat can be totally insane at a real casino. If you ever travel to Macau you'll see that there are more baccarat tables than any other game. And the high rollers like to put down more money than I earn in a year on a single hand. The tables have that energy and excitement like a craps or roulette table.
But playing solo at an online casino ... I'm totally with you. There's no decision to make so its not much fun. Just deal the cards and see if you won.
