Hi there hsc-it. I can totally understand your frustration. To an inexperienced online gambler, bonuses can be a trap that prevent you from quickly withdrawing your money after a win.

However it is ultimately up to you as a customer to make sure you read the fine print and understand what you are agreeing to when you accept a casino bonus, sign a mobile phone contract, get a bank loan, buy a magazine subscription etc etc. Caveat emptor.

Another member here just posted about this thing the other day, and I explained some of the reasons the casinos do this:

And I would also recommend that you read our beginner's guide which explains a bit more about bonuses:

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I completely agree with you CL-Ed about the bonuses as traps. Despite the fact that I can not actually explain why I think so, I always have some presentiment when casinos offer me bonuses. I always avoid them, even one of the casinos I play at, I have asked the staff not to send me all the promotions and bonus offerings any moer, I have blocked them.

In my cases, bonuses are either non-cashable or if cashable, restricted to withdraw all the winnings to some minor amounts, such as $50. This is awkward!
