Only 1 major land based site in my country

10 replies • Last post

Quick post just to see if anyone has been able to play at land based casinos anywhere during the current climate?
My country has 1 land based casino in the center of the capital and its closed a year now due to the pandemic.
Comments please ๐Ÿ™‚

Would be highly interested in knowing if everybody else is the same or have some re-opened as there lockdowns lifted as i imagine Land Casinos would have to enforce distancing hygine and health check for staffs etc i would imagine

Our whole country is level 1 and business as usual. full contact sport with spectators watching in the stands etc
Vax Covis injections have started. Hence all land based casinos back to business.๐Ÿ‘

Well until some clown comes down with Covis again.๐Ÿ˜•

The major one here is open and accepting customers albeit with some restrictions such as maximum 5 players per table. They were requiring everyone to wear a mask for quite a while but that is no longer mandatory as we have seen covid cases drop to minimal levels (under 10 cases a day for the past month in the whole country). You still have to check in and out using an app like every other bar or restaurant but compared to the rest of the world we're going really well.

Still, the idea of going in and handling chips and cards, or hitting slot machine buttons that others have been touching all day long is not exactly an attractive proposition to me while we still haven't eradicated this thing.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
Post in our forums to earn CLchips which can be used to buy real prizes in our CLchips shop.

CL-Ed / Adrianooo231 I myself have not played in or visited a land based site in a year.

And you will know when a 21 year old idiot who knows he has Covis and is told to hibernate for 14 days and not visit anyone or have visitors goes shopping eating at restaurant's goes to a gym works out and visits a full polytechnic . Effecting 10s of thousands pushing 4 million into level 3 and costing millions +in damages to this country.
NZ Govt. told him do not do this again hahaha.
The Govt would not name and shame as they believe he would be in VERY grave danger.๐Ÿ’ฉ
Covis certainly is a game breaker.๐Ÿ˜Ž

That is a very serious thing to do! there are many fines and penalties currently in place in my country with on the spot fines of up to 4000$ , this includes travelling outside 5km from home without essencial purpose,
Bizzare times we are living in, hoping it all ends soon and get to some form of normality.
Australia and New Zeland both had a much more effective approach to slowing down the spread and the systems that both had in place were spot on with how the social bubbles etc would work, we only adapted this approach at the beginning of December

We have here 2 or 3 land-based casinos and as Ed said, I don't find it appealing to go to a landbased casino. Besides, the ones we have here aren't really something I would like to experience so no loss there.

blck I lived and worked in Australia for many years. Really playing or visiting a land casino.
Once again we have casinos in NZ but not in the city I reside in.
Once our country population have had their Covis injections give a year or so then I may think of visiting.๐Ÿ‘
