2019 Christmas Advent Calendars - not just casino bonuses

38 replies • Last post

casinolistings_christmas_advent_calendar_bonuses.jpg

Thanksgiving is done, December is finally here, so we can officially start talking about Christmas. And of course, we can expect the usual avalanche of advent calendar style promotions from casinos.

So to keep things a little more interesting in the countdown to Christmas, I thought I'd share with you the daily goodies found in my kids' advent calendars as well as bring you the latest in promotions. This year we have a Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate advent calendar with 200g worth of tasty treats and a less fattening but more pricey, Lego Star Wars advent calendar.

How I wish I had gotten my hands on an Aldi Wine or Beer advent calendar, now that would have made the Christmas countdown more interesting!

Feel free to share any fun facts about advent calendars, as well as advent calendar offers from your favourite casinos in the comments below.

Christmas, here we come!

DAY 1: There was a little cruiser in the Lego Star Wars advent calendar. I didn't manage to get a look at the chocolate let alone a photo of it before it was eaten. However, the chocolate did come with an edict from Cadbury - "It's officially December! Put your tree up!"

As for casino advent calendars, Mr Green was first off the mark with their 47 days of Christmas which started mid November!

DAY 2: A chocolate bow today and further instructions from Cadbury "Dust off your decorations & pop them around your house." Dust, who has time to dust?! But my little guy did have time to build Kylo Ren's shuttle!

December 2 also brings us the first day of the Betsson Casino Christmas Calendar. Today, you can get into the holiday spirit with 25 SPINS on Merry Xmas slot from Playn'Go when you deposit €25 or more. If you're feeling particularly festive, make a second deposit of €100 or more to get another 100 SPINS! Winnings from the spins subject to 35X wagering. The Betsson Casino Christmas Calendar promotion runs until 31st December 2019.

Day 3: Mmmm, yet ANOTHER storm trooper!? The guy front and centre is from the advent calendar. This is just a small regiment I managed to pull together for this photo shoot, we have an entire army! 🙄

And a chocolate snowman. Given the hot dry weather and the thick blanket of smoke in the air due to bush fires I'm surprised the poor fellow hasn't melted!

Head to Slotastic Casino for some advent calendar action. Players will find spin offers on Christmas slots as well as popular new games or deposit bonuses of up to 250% each day until Christmas. Here's what's on offer for day 3 at Slotastic.

DEPOSIT $25 GET 70 SPINS ON SWINDLE ALL THE WAY

  • Coupon code: SWINDLE2019
  • Minimum deposit $25
  • Wagering requirement 30X

Day 4: Hold on folks! We're in for a wild ride today with a chocolate motorbike and an equally wild suggestion from Cadbury to make your own wrapping paper!?! Plus, our little storm trooper acquired a new weapon for his arsenal.

There's an equally wild prize over at Paf Casino's advent calendar! Every day from 3rd to 5th December, players will have the chance earn an entry into the draw to win a trip to New York! The prize includes:

  • Return flights for two from Stockholm to NY
  • 5 nights accommodation at the New Yorker Wyndham Hotel plus breakfast
  • Tickets for the NHL at the New York Rangers-New Jersey Devils Madison Square Garden
  • Tickets for the NBA to the Brooklyn Nets-Chicago Bulls Barclays Center

Head to our review of Paf Casino to see if you're eligible to register and if you are, sign up and place your bets for your chance to win a trip to NY!

Day 5: Yay! Today's Lego offering is a bit more interesting - a mini version of Po's X-Wing ship. And we ring in a daily spins offer from PlayFrank Casino with a Cadbury chocolate bell!

While PlayFrank doesn't officially have an advent calendar, they do offer daily spin promotions on different slots, which is kinda the same thing right?!

30 SPINS ON SANTA VS RUDOLPH

  • Minimum deposit €20
  • Spins available for play on Santa vs Rudolph slot
  • Wagering is 40X bonus
  • Promotion runs on December 5th from 00.01 CET until 23.59 CET

Day 6: Another yummy chocolate today from the Cadbury advent calendar. But we have (IMO) a bit of a dud from the Lego advent calendar...apparently it's a resistance troop transporter. If you squint....you can to see the resemblance 😂

Days 7 and 8: The 7th and 8th of December was a mixed bag. Of course there was Cadbury chocolate, the old fashioned car on day 7 was cool, according to my eldest it tasted of 'just' chocolate - not sure what else she was expecting from a Cadbury Advent Calendar??

As for the Lego, there was a bit of excitement over Chewbacca and his roasted (chicken or Porg??) drumstick but day 8 was less than impressive. The kids thought it was a rock, it's actually Ahch-To island where Rey found Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Day 10: We get to fly away on Rey's Quad Jumper today. Nothing to write home about but certainly better than Ahch-To island from day 8! And it's a day 10 chocolate acorn, this freaked the kids out. It looks a bit like a bug or cocoon....mmm....yum!

Day 12: OK we are at the halfway point of the 'traditional' advent calendar! We have an Imperial Gunner figurine, apparently not that easy to get, so that's a plus. And of course more Cadbury chocolate, does anyone else worry their kids eat too much sugar?!

Which brings me to advent calendars that don't involve chocolate - I've found ones that contain alcohol (I've got my eye on you Aldi wine advent calendar 2020!), teas, curry powders and cheese. But the contender for the most unusual is the Snaffling Pig pork crackling advent calendar! This is an A3 sized calendar with 24 x 8g packets of different flavoured pork crackling! What is not to love about this?!

While you contemplate that deliciousness, you can chew on this tasty morsel from the Fun Casino Advent Calendar.

FUN CASINO: GUESS THE SLOT TO RECEIVE 20 BONUS SPINS

  • Hint: Take me down to Paradise City!
  • Hurry, this offer is only available for the first 100 players
  • Offer is only avaialble on 12th December 2019
  • Only players who have claimed the Fun Casino welcome bonus can participate
  • Swedish players are excluded

If you've not claimed the welcome offer, don't worry, there are 25 offers in the Fun Casino Advent Calendar! Click here to register at Fun Casino and check out the remaining daily offers.

Day 13: A mouse droid, seriously?! I think Lego is having a laugh! I wasn't expecting all that much from the Cadbury Advent Calendar for $4 but the Lego Advent Calendar cost over $20 so yes, I was hoping for a little more than 6 tiny lego pieces!! The Cadbury chocolate present is even bigger than it! 😂😂

I wonder if there were dud days in the million dollar Porsche Advent Calendar. Only five were made back in 2010. Some highlights included a Porsche Design P’6910 Indicator watch in rose gold, an individually customisable Porsche Design Kitchen P’7340 and an 8.5m long motor yacht!

Today's advent calendar offer from Betzest Casino won't cost you a thing and while not as good as a Porsche, is way better than a mouse droid!

BETZEST CASINO: 10 FREE SPINS ON STARBURST

  • Valid on Friday 13th December, between 00:00-23:59 CET.
  • Contact Betzest Live Support to claim the bonus.
  • Spins available on Starburst slot.
  • Spins are wager free.
  • Maximum winning amount is $/€10.

To be honest, the only casino related advent calendars I've seen this year is from Videoslots- quite a bad one as you need to fulfill specific requirements to get to spin a wheel and shocker- I've won only 5 spins from it so definitely not worth it! Then also Mrgreen- not a fan as nothing really exciting.

Days 14 and 15: there was a bit of a theme going on for this weekend. Battle droids in the Lego Star Wars advent calendar. I think we're all familiar with the battle droid on the bottom left, but for those (like Ed and vomvom12) who aren't fans of the prequel trilogy, this is (apparently) a corporate alliance tank droid.

And a shooting star and moon from Cadbury. The Cadbury advent calendar has been full of instructions on how to get ready for Christmas, ranging from the useful to the ludicrous. The latest one was to invent a Christmas themed game to play - who on earth has time to do this in the lead up to Christmas? More useful instructions have been, put up your decorations and Christmas tree, send out Christmas cards (damn it, haven't done that yet!) and make/decorate your gingerbread house.

This is one Christmas tradition that we don't do at our place. Other than advent calendars and gingerbread houses, what are your family Christmas/festive traditions??

Day 16: We are officially 9 days away from Christmas. The 16th December gives us a chocolate pear and a battle droid carrier that looks like a piece of chocolate. Feels like we've hit a major slump in the Lego Star Wars calendar. I am expecting big things for the remaining days but have a feeling that I may be disappointed.

On a more positive note, the Twin Casino Advent Calendar is offering 30 SPINS in the NetEnt slot Jingle Spins today!

TWIN CASINO: 30 SPINS on JINGLE SPINS

  • Get 30 free spins in Jingle Spins with a deposit of €20 or more.

Day 17: It's a chocolate fire engine (and I quote my eldest 'what's that got to do with Christmas!?) and a droid escape pod today! Make your escape to Jetbull and claim the offer in their advent calendar today.

  • Deposit on 17th December to receive a 200% casino bonus up to €20

Day 18: We are back to the figurines in the Lego Star Wars advent calendar - it's a rebel trooper today.

Today Cadbury gives us a toy train, we've had many modes of transport since December 1st, but have yet to see a plane - with 6 more days on the Cadbury advent calendar there's still time. You won't find a plane in the Yeti Casino advent calendar either, just 25 SPINS!

YETI CASINO: 25 SPINS ON JUMANJI SLOT

  • Make a deposit at Yeti Casino to claim 25 spins on Jumaji.
  • The spins are available from 00:00 to 23:59 CET, 18 December 2019.
  • This offer is only available to players who have previously made at least 2 deposits.
  • Spins have 40X wagering requirement.
  • Maximum bet when playing with bonus money is $/€/£5.

New players, click here to register at Yeti Casino. While you might not qualify for today's offer, the advent calendar has 25 days, so there's still time to qualify for upcoming offers.

Oh yes I did enjoy Rogue One. I forgot about that one, but it was very good.

Would you believe I'm going to see the new Star Wars movie tomorrow morning. I was lucky enough to be given free tickets by a friend. I will report back tomorrow to tell everyone how good (or bad) it is.
