Cannot connect to gaming server!!!

4 replies • Last post

I am hoping someone can help me out with a problem that I am experiencing. I am a member of an online casino. I've been playing for a few months now. I have not had any problems until this past Friday.
I went to log in. However, a small window popped up preventing me from logging in. The window said, "Cannot connect to gaming server. Please check your internet connections. You can continue in offline mode only. Sorry for the inconvenience." I contacted the casino...they told me to clear cache and cookies...I did that....they asked me if my internet was running properly....I said that I was talking with them and that I had no problem logging into other sites...so yes, my internet connections was good. They then advised me to uninstall the program and then reinstall it...I did that...I then began the process of downloading the program...but just after I checked the "agree to terms box" the download would go no further. again, a box popped up saying, "cannot connect to master gaming server." Now I am left without the downloaded program to the casino...I've talked with several reps at the casino...they say there is nothing on their side that is preventing me from accessing...as I am able to log in via "instant play"...for what iit is worth..I've made no adjustments on my computer......they said that they would contact the gaming server to see what could be the problem...Why it has taken 3 days for what has yet to be an answer...I'm not sure...I would think the the casino rep could be in contact with the company that runs their site right away.....don't they havve tech support to tech support.? In the meantime, I am only able to play through the sites "instant play" ..However, I don't like this option as the games run slower, there is hesitation in the spins, sometimes continuous spinning....Also, with this access point...not all the games a available for whatever reason....again, I have no problem logging into other gaming sites...it is my feeling that it truly is not the casino that is blocking my access...but the gaming server that they are using...I'm just not sure why.....anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?...Thank you...

I don't think it is your problem. As you were able to talk to them via live chat and surf the web, there must have been a problem with their casino server. Have you tried again since? These sorts of things are usually temporary.

I had a casino i couldn't download either. Maybe try that Revo Uninstaller (free 30 day trial) and make sure everything is completely removed and then try re-installer. Worked like a charm for me.

The only problem i had with Revo was when i went to install alot of the other casinos that i had uninstalled.......it didn't download properly. There would be certain things missing on the page. Really weird. But as soon as i removed the Revo everything ran smooth again.

Sort of robbing Peter to pay Paul! But in the end i am good to go.

Good luck to ya and i hope you get it rectified quick!

I'm still having problems downloading the casino's gaming server. I really thought the problem was with the gaming server and not mine or the actuual casino site. However, the casino assured me that they spoke with the
gaming server and that they have not blocked my ip address. I then decided to try and download other casino
site programs to see if I could. (4 to be exact) all failed....Now I am starting to think the problem has to do with my
computer....I'm using Windows Vista and Internet Explorer....I've tried to clear cookies and cache...I've tried to download the program as Administrator....If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do on my end I would greatly appreciate it...

Ok that sounds very strange. Do you have any kind of "internet security", anti-virus or firewall software running? Perhaps it is blocking access to the casino's server. If so you could try temporarily disabling it while you connect and see if that makes a difference.
