Choosing a casino to play at: what are your standards?

3 replies • Last post

Hi All,
I have an interesting question regarding the coice that you make when deciding where to deposit my money.
When i look for a casino, i dont just look at the best bonus or the games they let me play.
I look for a well respected casino i can trust! i want to know that the casino has a great costumer support and and a vip manager that will answer me right away.
want to know what is the time frame that i will get my money back if i win...

What are your terms for picking and playing a casino?

I used to play everywhere that offered a good bonus. That was until I ran into the bad ones which refused to pay me or locked my account etc.

Now my criteria are these:

1. Strong management and financial backing.
2. Licensed in a regulated jurisdiction like Gibraltar, Alderney, UK, Kahnawake etc.
3. Fast payments. If it takes longer than 48 hours to receive my money then I won't play there.

I don't often claim a bonus at all any more. It has to be an exceptional deal for me to claim one.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I do like a casino that offers a decent bonus because i am a bit of a low roller. so i find doubling my $50 to $100 gives me more playtime.

but i have learned alot since reading the reviews here and i wont take a bonus with ridiculos terms on it any more (i used to take almost anything they offered me). i mostly stick to the casinos i know are good mostly microgaming casinos plus english harbour and intercasino

Before I try a new casino, I always go to Casino Listing's reviews and check out their rogue list. If I'm still not sure, I ask around to see whether they offer fast payouts and fair play. I also prefer some software houses more than others, but the casinos that keep them usually have worse reputation than I'd like: i.e. Rival's or Betsoft's casinos. That's why it's essential to investigate which casinos or groups belonging to a particular software are decent, as that definitely saved me from making a wrong choice on a number of occasions.
