Favorites? This or That?

14 replies • Last post

Okay. It is a big online casino world out there, and I don't know where to place my first (small) deposit. I have done a few bonus rounds and I am looking at Superior Casino or Slots Galore, because the slots tournaments look fun (always wanted to try a RL slots tournament but just never had the time when they are running). So, if this has been discussed, I apologize in advance, but can you direct this newbie or share your faves with me? I know it is just your own opinions, etc.
Thank you!

HI there hope777. Slots Galore are part of a pretty good group - I myself have played at English Harbour (same owners) for years and have never run into any major problems. Tournaments are great fun - I always play the weekly $5000 blackjack tournament there and have won quite a bit over the years. The slots ones are more of a lottery though.

Superior Casino I would be a bit wary of. They are a Rival white label, which in simple terms means that the people who run it are renting a casino and paying a share of the profits to the software developer Rival Gaming. Most of the Rival white labels are not the most reliable casinos - they aren't outright rip off joints but you can expect poor quality of customer service from a shared pool of operators who handle all the white label casinos, and the bonus offers are generally poor value.

Your best bet is to look to the right of this very page (or the top right of our home page) where we have our recommendations - although we number them you can consider any of them good. If you are browsing through the reviews, stick to the casinos we rate 4 stars or higher at first.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing.

Hi Hope,

Not sure where you are located, that makes a huge difference in options. I am from the US and my favorite casinos are Real Time Gaming (RTG). Club World Group has a good reputation.

This group includes:

Club USA
High Noon
Lucky Red
Manhattan Slots
All Star Slots

Good luck to you and let us know how you did!

Usne

Thank you, Usne! Yes, I am from the U.S., too. I am really new to the casino thing and know little about it all (whatever there is to know, anyway). I have mainly played a little free and low stakes poker online and at local establishments, casinos, etc. The online casino is brand new, and less exciting than the actual brick and mortar, yet still a way to pass the time when I don't feel like doing anything constructive, lol.
Thank you so much for the list of your faves! Smile

My favourite at the moment is Virgin casino. They have lots of games and they are all run straight in my internet browser so I dont have to install anything to play. Plus I earn (tiny amounts) of Virgin flyer points while I play.

I couldn't agree more with Usne, Club World is definitely the group to try out. They are reliable and they pay out fair.

Hello Hope,

I would have to agree with Club World. Check out the exclusive for Manhattan Slots and give Club World a try.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing your favorites!

I want'/need my first big win! lol! I have never been very "lucky" at land based casinos, yet I keep going back for more. The most I have EVER won at one visit is $1,000 on a royal flush video poker. That was a long time ago, so I figure they "owe me" a big one, yet slots seem tighter than ever, due to the economy. Would it really hurt them to loosen them up just a little bit? lol! On second thought, I have a friend who wins big jackpots quite often, so maybe she is just lucky?

I don't know. I have been playing at Slots Galore, but every time I get my money up over 200 hundy it eats it back up again. I do have a few favorites over there and like the tourneys, but I am going to have to check out Club World.

I will keep you all posted: especially when I get my first BIG win! Wink

New question: Does anyone play at Slots Galore?
If so, what are your general impressions compared to others?
Favorite games there?
I have been playing there, for the most part, and enjoying a few slots tournaments, so I am just wondering what others think and if many at the forum play there.
Thank you!

I've played at English Harbour (same company as Slots Galore) on and off for years now. They always take a couple of days to pay my withdrawals and I have never had a problem with them at all.

I quite like The Reel Deal where you get to play deal or no deal in the bonus round. I know picking "just one more case" is probably a good way of blowing a decent bonus round win, but I still find it fun to play.

And the other Vegas Tech slot I really like is Grail Maiden. I love the stained glass artwork on that game.
