Hi CL Members,
There is definitely strategy when it comes to poker. When to hold them, when to fold them and a game of patience. But a strategy for slot playing. Hmmmm i am not so sure there is one!
It's pretty basic, drop your money in the slot and hit the spin button. About the only thought process is how much you want to spend per spin. I love slots don't get me wrong, its the chemical combustion in the brain that keeps me coming back for more!
Do you think there is really a strategy to beat slots. Would you buy a book on the market about how to beat slots?
There isn't really much you can do. Think of it like buying a lottery ticket on every spin.
Just about the only thing I can think of is to pick a machine with a higher payout % which in theory means your money should last longer and you'll get more spins in, which means more chances of hitting a big one. But that is a big generalisation and assumes that you know what the payout rate is on the slots you are playing.
There can be a strategy when playing with a bonus in terms of mathematically maximising the expected value of the bonus money but that is a whole other story!
Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.
Post in our forums to earn CLchips which can be used to buy real prizes in our CLchips shop.
the only strategy when it comes to slots, IMO, is bankroll management strategy. Try to make your money last longer good luck with that
Good advice Zuga. If you can stick to a plan and manage your bankroll your way ahead of the game.
The only tactics I implement when it comes to slots is to withdraw from them on time. After I get a couple of good rounds of free spins or normal rounds, I always withdraw, because then always comes a standstill. But that's also based only on my predictions, not on some serious research
I guess there really can be a strategy when playing slots. I think for the most part is knowing when to stop and cashout.
As far as actually playing the slots i don't think it makes much of difference if u up your bet, play less lines, auto spin and etc...
Yes the time-honoured "quit while you're ahead" strategy always works ... providing you get ahead at some stage. And of course providing you aren't locked into wagering more by a bonus. Which is why I rarely claim a bonus any more!
Me too, bonuses are way too restrictive in terms of games, and they set wagering conditions too high!
