Warning: Lock Casino payment delays

3 replies • Last post

This one is a sad one, because its a good casino which has suffered a bad turn ... but anyway:

A month or two ago Lock Casino was subject to a payment processor seizure that resulted in the group losing a large amount of funds to U.S. authorities. The end result is payment delays, with players reporting being paid irregularly in small instalments instead of lump sums.

We advise prospective players to avoid Lock Casino until we receive confirmation that the casino is indeed able to pay players in a timely manner.

That is a shame because they started out with a very good rep. I guess this would explain why. Do you happen to know which processor this was ED?

No idea. The processors operate behind the scenes and try to keep a low profile as they are obvious targets for the U.S. authorities. However, remember this is Lock's explanation - it may or may not be true. They may have simply been under-capitalised and run out of money.

We have been keeping an eye on this to see if the situation improves as they assured anyone who asked that it would - but it has not. If anything it is getting worse. So the best course for the moment is for players to stay away.

I think there is a high chance that this place will go under in the near future. Existing customers are not going to keep playing there if their withdrawals take months to process, and as word spreads new players are not going to go there. So where is the money to pay all their players going to come from?

It is actually kind of sad if that is indeed the case behind their woes. This casino had honorable intentions from the start. Players gave it rave reviews. It will be hard for them to rebound especially if there was a large amount of money confiscated.
