Spot the Slot and win! September 2010

29 replies • Last post

This month marks the start of our newest and most exciting competition for members yet! Let me introduce you to Spot the Slot.

5 shots from 5 slots. But can you figure out which is which?

spot-201009.jpg

Beware ... we have engaged the trickery here and there so the answers may not be as simple as you might think. The games we have chosen are available to just about all players including those from the USA. All you have to do is name the games. Easy right?

The prizes

Club World casinos are kindly sponsoring the prizes this month. Their casinos - Club World, Lucky Red, Aladdin's Gold, Manhattan Slots - are among our favourites here at Casino Listings. And with the opening of their latest High Noon casino this week, we highly recommend you take advantage of the $60 free chip on offer! Who knows, you might run into a symbol or two above...

Here are the prizes for September:

  • 8gb Ipod Touch
  • $25 cash via Paypal, Neteller, or Moneybookers.

The Rules

  • Simply email us the names of the five games pictured above.
  • We will award prizes to the member(s) with the most correct answers.
  • In the event of a tie prizes will be awarded to members who sent us their answers first - so don't delay!
  • If you change your mind you can send a new entry but we will always count your last entry as your only entry, even if you had more correct answers the first time.
  • This competition is open to all members here at Casino Listings. If you don't have an account, it is free - just click here to join.
  • CL-Ed is the sole judge and his decision is final!

We recommend emailing your answers to the address above, then post in this thread to let us and everyone else know you sent them - that way you won't reveal your guesses to everyone else. But of course feel free to probe for clues or discuss the clues right here in this thread!

Best of luck and happy slot-spotting...

I just realised I may have given a bogus clue so I had better clarify one thing:

One of the games is generally not available to U.S. players to play for real money - but we do have a free games collection on this site...

What can I say ... I have already given a few good clues in the main post and comment just above. Wink

But I did expect shot 2 to be the most difficult .... Devil

Hmmmm, no.2 is indeed the most difficult, but I'll go with my best guess. As for no. 5, I think I know what it is, but I'm still trying to figure out no. 4... Sad

Just a reminder for people to get their entries in.

We have received only a few entries and nobody has guessed all five correctly, so if you know them all you have a great chance of scoring an ipod.

Hi Casino888,

It is very easy to play. Look at the pics numbered 1-5. These are pics from slot machines at online casinos. Guess the name of the slot by the pic and send your guesses to the email provided.

This is free to enter and is a exclusive contest for members!

Good luck,
Usne

We'll go through the entries over the weekend. I have been keeping an eye on them and I can say that no-one got all of them right.

If anyone still wants to enter then quick get in before I announce the answers here in the next day or two.

Apologies for the delay ... Zuga you got -1 for not entering.

Ok here are the answers with slot name and manufacturer:

1. Club World Casinos (RTG)
Almost everyone got this one.

2. Naughty Ninjas (Vegas Tech)
I think I was a bit too tricky here. It is actually a negative colour image of the symbol. No one was able to guess this one.

3. Crystal Waters (RTG)
Almost everyone got this one.

4. Treasure Chamber (RTG)
A little tricky - it was from the wild symbol which is animated.

5. Devil's Delight (Net Entertainment)
This was not an actual symbol - it was cut from the bonus round screen. But you can see it without playing by clicking the preview feature button on the game (free Devil's Delight here).

So 2 entrants were ahead of the rest. Coming in with an outstanding 4 out of 5 correct answers was kabean. Congratulations, you have won an ipod touch - just PM me and let me know your address details asap.

And coming in 2nd with a total of 3 correct answers was Yobes. $25 is headed your way if you can PM your preferred payment method.

Congratulations to the winners and keep an eye out for this month's member's competition which we will announce soon.

That is right danniboi. In fact you can make calls with an ipod if you install a voip app like skype on it. There is probably a way to send text via an app or website too.

Glad you like it kabean.

No you can use skype to call normal phones. I think you prepay or something (not sure, I don't need to use it much).
