The real rules for online casinos!!

13 replies • Last post

Here is what i think the rules are with online casinos:

1. Never ever let a player win off a free chip. Once in a blue moon throw in a winner for show!.

2. When redeeming player points never ever let the player win off it. Once in a blue moon throw in a winner for show!

3. When using a deposit bonus always tease the player by starting out with a bang and right when it gets close to making the playthrough let the machine die.

4. On rare occasions allow the player to make the playthrough. As much as it pains us we realize that by doing it they will come back again and again.

5. Let the player make the playthrough and give them a sense of false hope. After we deduct the bonus from the winnings, there is not quite enough for the player to cashout because the min cashout is $50.

6. Allow the player lots of mini wins on certain slots. But never let that win go over a certain amount. It is too risky and the player could possibly cashout.

7. When a player is making min. or lower coin value bets let the player win. It will make the player up the ante and then thats when the machine will die.

9. Bring the player down to almost zero in their balance, then give them a fairly nice hit but not enough to cashout. Do this once or on occasion several times. This will make the player think the machine is coming around and they will make another deposit.

10. On the rare occasion we allow the player to win big.....let there be a longggggg dry spell before they win again.

11. If a player decides to reverse the withdrawal, make sure we get every single cent of that winnings back.

12. Give the player lots of near misses. So close yet so far. This give the player an adrenaline rush and they will make another deposit.

If i left any rules out please feel free to add to them.

All in good fun........sometimes we just have to find the humor in it all!!

How about what I like to call "the Cool Cat rule"...

Invoke the "we can change the rules whenever we like" clause in paragraph 86, sub-section 72, line 4378 on the 4th page of the casino terms and conditions to avoid paying the player!

Or how about: If you win in line with our T&Cs, and try to cash out, we'll ban you for abusing a bonus. Bonus abuse is such a convenient excuse for not paying, isn't it? lol

Or how about if you play at one of our sister sites and take one too many bonuses we will punish you at our site too.

Or if you play at Rival software site and abused a bonus ALL of the Rival casinos will gang up on you and ban you for being a bad girl or boy!

Aaah very good question. And sorry I sometimes forget that not everyone is up to speed with the industry lingo!

A white label casino is one that is basically a "skin" of a master casino. It is the cheap way of getting your own online casino up and running, because the support, software, website, payment processing etc is all provided for the white label owner - at a very high level all they have to do is market the casino and sometimes deal with customers. And that is a reason why when you get bonus banned by one Rival, you are bonus banned for nearly all of them - all the white labels have access to the same shared database.

Financially the white label casino is usually paying a percentage of profits back to the master casino owner (Rival), and sadly as we have seen many times recently they often don't have enough of their own capital to back up the casino's operations when there is a big winner or two. This is why I suspect so many winners get bonus banned by Rivals - they are scared of winners because they don't have a lot of money in reserve, and they are paying a fat percentage of their profits to the master owner.

The only Rival casinos that I know of that are not white labels are Sloto'Cash, Box 24, Black Diamond, Spartan Slots, and BetUS. If you see a Rival casino and it says it is owned or operated by Silverstone Overseas Ltd / Bonne Chance NV then you know it is a white label.

Thanks Ed for the industry education! Are "white labels" only found on Rival casinos or are they found in all softwares? Also if so, are they all called "white label" on all software.

Thanks,
Usne

White label is a term that is used in lots of industries where similar arrangements exist.

There are many white label casinos that use other software. TopGame is one in particular - almost all of them are white labels of the same TopGame operation. There are several Playtech and RTG casinos that do it too. I am sure there are many others.

I am surprised to see casinos that proudly advertise this given all the pitfalls. Might make a player avoid it all together.
