Microgaming tournaments

3 replies • Last post

login to Platinum Play today and see this message,

You can expect some exciting changes to take place as of May 28th, 2010. Play will be moved off the Microgaming platform & from May 28th, we will be licensing software from a brand new service provider. The new software will have a similar look & feel, stability & most of the features you have become accustomed to but with some notable changes! This change has been made in order to ensure that we are able to continue offering safety, service and exciting gaming, to all our valued US customers,

I play their tournaments almost everyday, but their live multi tournaments will not available in the new software. My day will be longer, lol.

Yes that is because all the Microgaming casinos are moving U.S. players off to separate software. I've checked it out and it looks identical, just with a few less games, and no tournaments. But we're fairly confident they will start accepting new players from the U.S. in the near future on this new software. More info here:

Maybe some good news for you is that it looks like RTG are launching slots tournaments:

Rushmore only started tournaments last week and yes the first one required you to have been a depositor to play. They are supposed to be open to everyone this week.
