Casino tournaments roundup - February 2010

No replies

Here is what we think are the best online casino tournaments this month:

$1000 slots freerolls @ VIP Casino (Cryptologic)
Feb 1 - 14 and 15-28, $400 first prize, 22 winners in total. USA players not allowed.

Weekly freerolls @ CasinoJoy (Cryptologic)
Every Week, €50 in prizes, 6 winners in total. USA players not allowed.
These are some small freerolls that are offered by a newer Cryptologic casino called CasinoJoy. The good thing about these is that there isn't a lot of competition compared to say VIP Casino or Intercasino tournaments. And in a unique twist they sometimes broadcast your play on the poker channel, a web-based tv channel.

$5000 weekly freerolls @ English Harbour group (Vegas Tech)
Weekly slots freeroll, $500 1st prize, a huge 1290 prizes paid in total. USA players accepted.
The English Harbour group have done away with daily slots freerolls this month and replaced them with some big $5000 weekly freerolls. They pay all the way down to 1290th place so you have a great chance of nabbing some free cash.

$100 @ English Harbour group (Vegas Tech)
Feb 1 - 28, $10 entry, $50,000 1st prize, 275 prizes paid in total. USA players accepted.

$50-75k Weekend Madness tourneys @ Go Casino / Online Vegas (Vegas Tech)
Every weekend, starting Friday evenings. USA players accepted.
This month these tournaments alternate between $50,000 and $75,000 in prizes up for grabs. Look out for the $75k Valentine's themed tournament on the Cupid's Arrow slot starting Friday February 12.

$20 @ All Slots / Platinum Play / Jackpot City (Microgaming)
Every Weekend, $5500 first prize, 27 prizes in total. Only existing USA players allowed.
See our Microgaming casino tournaments guide to help you maximise your chances of winning.

$5000 Weekend Blackjack Classic @ English Harbour group (Vegas Tech)
Every Weekend, $1500 1st prize, 50 prizes paid in total. USA players accepted.
Still the best "stack-building" blackjack tournament around (as opposed to the player vs player elimination tourneys). Start with $75 and see how big you can build your stack (my best is over $8000). Entry is $10.
