I just ( Monday night) hit the progressive for Let Em Ride through Lock Poker...Merge handles their Casino. Jackpot hasn't been approved yet but it was real !!!!

My question is what has been the history of payoffs for Jackpots with Merge and how should I expect to be paid 🤷 Any help would be appreciated. Diamond royal flush...way cool !!!

Thanks

Starting to get payments...received several checks and just today direct deposit. Been a long road and I think the pressure CL-ed and the Central Dispute people has helped. Still have quite abit to go but I feel somewhat positive about the most current events. Still the whole process is not quite what it should be.

Glad to hear you have started getting your payments dogfather. You should be getting paid for quite some time with their payment limits, but hey, its better than a punch in the face.

Do you have any big plans for your winnings?

well It hasent been any problems for me.. however you do need to understand that the casino will undertake an extra hard security check on you and might really ask for certain documents. Like from the Bank stating that in fact it's your account etc etc. And then they might want to verify with the actual bank that the document sent to em is real and not fake..
Do count on a 1-4 weeks period while they do this. Also they might ask to see your Canadian ID etc and by falining to send em any of the things they ask for.. you will automatically be deemd suspisios player/criminal trying to use the casino for moneylaundering.. So yes, it's great when it's working but do expect em to want to see deep in to your underpants before they will accept it. Im Happy with Casinoroom.com for this exellent service.

and Ubetcha I don't have any problems with the IRS. Play with open cards and Is happy to pay tax to wich ever nations bank I will use to access the winnings. No, all you US players, this might sound weird to you, but in the Nordic Nations many pep think that Paying up to 36-50% tax is a good thing. I happen to be one of em. If I ever get sick, just call an ambulance. If I need surgury.. Money no problem all Paid for by the Tax. At the moment Im paying around 38% tax on my monthly income and even if it would be great to get more cash in the hand. It's still a good feeling to know that Im looked after in case of the unexpected to happen...

Great to hear the money is trickling in dogfather!

Just about everyone I have ever spoken to from a Nordic country agrees with you mrbingo - high taxes are ok as long as you receive good services and infrastructure. I tend to agree, although I am not so sure the return I get for my taxes here is up to scratch! (but thats a whole other discussion).

congrats on that big win dogfather!
I was just wondering if you heard of moneybookers, https://www.moneybookers.com/
it might be an easier way to get more money, right now they are in 43 states for the US. That way you might be able to get more of that money out. I saw that was a payment option on lock, so check it out. I believe its also called skrill.

Moneybokers isn't a good option to withdraw such amount of money - $90.000??... they have some transaction limits and it takes a while to verify and fully unlock your account (takes a week or more). If i had won that money 🙂 my option would be a wire bank tranfer.

Moneybookers will not allow withdrawals to a U.S. account when the money has any connection to online gambling.

I don't understand why there are so many restrictions to US players in the industry of gambling. After all, isn't US the mother land of the casinos? Can someone please clarify my idea about this issue?

No, the U.S. is not the mother land of the casinos. Online gambling is deemed illegal in the U.S. which is why there are so many issues for us poor U.S. players. We do not see changes happening any time soon, either. At least I don't.

Well they ARE probably the motherland when it comes to land-based casinos.

Online it is very complex. Over the years we have seen close-minded politicians who try to enforce their beliefs on everyone else, land-based operators who don't want to lose customers to the online sites, law enforcement alarmists who expect everyone to believe that every online casino or gambler is a money launderer, and countless other competing interests. The end result is that some sneaky politicians attached a law to an unrelated port security bill that tried to make the banks prevent transfer of money for the purposes of gambling.

It seems to be slowly changing though, especially with the poor state of America's economy and the need for tax revenue.

We have an article with more information here (it does need an update with some more recent news though):
Is online gambling illegal in the USA?
