Are tournaments different in every state?

11 replies • Last post

I know someone here mentioned that their tournament game was 25 minutes long. I played the same game and mine was only 20 minutes long. If this is true, then do they average the amount of winnings over the minutes played?

Also, someone else has two tournament games available for them to play today and I have only one. What determines if tournaments are in your state? I would think they would be the same everywhere but it's sounding like they use different criteria for each state or person?

I am talking about free tournaments for this particular discussion.

I think they are the same everywhere, but someone can correct me if I am wrong. I think when we sign into the casino we are all seeing the same thing. Maybe that one was already running, so it wasn't on the list for yours anymore? Would that be the case?

And I think you are mistaken about the length of the tournaments, and again you can correct me if I am wrong, but the Loose Caboose one WAS 20 minutes and the Texas Tycoon, that you didn't see (I played it earlier in the day and then when I went back and viewed it, it said "running" not "registering") that was 25 minutes long.

CL-Ed have any input here? 🙂

They are the same for everyone. You must be mistaken LuckyMe.

I think I am mistaken. The Loose Caboose was 20 minutes. I got it mixed up with Texas Tycoon. I never saw the Texas Tycoon on my screen.

I guess it's possible I just overlooked the Texas Tycoon one but I looked a couple of times. If a tournament is full will it still show up?

I clicked into my account to register for the new Loose Caboose tournament that starts later today and I had a message that I won .05 from one of the other tournaments. haha

For me, it varies from different casinos, the games & how much credits involve. It ranges from 8 minutes playtime to 45 min total. The Club World is mostly 8 min. with 6,000 credits while the Casino Titan a whooping 45 min playtime.. that's too long for me! I'm on central time.

Woo Hoo! It will all add up, LuckyMe! lol!

CL-Ed if the tournament says, "running," instead of "registering," would it show up on LM's screen? They say either "completed," "registering," or "running." Is that maybe why it wasn't there anymore (if she is NOT mistaken?). Just curious.

I think it should still show up in the list, unless it was running and had reached the maximum allowed players. They usually still let you enter after the tournament has started.

Maybe that is what is happening, because she is honestly not seeing the second tournament, which are the ones that are 25 minutes long. The thing is they don't disappear from my list but either say, "registering, running, or completed." Very strange.

Well, we finally solved this mystery. We couldn't understand why the extra tournament was not showing up for LuckyMe. When I was using the Chat feature to ask some other questions, I asked out of curiosity, and here is what they said. Those who have deposited money in their casino are offered an extra free tournament. Simple as that!

Yes, because the last time you told me there were two tournaments and I looked and there was only one for me and two for you.....I knew this is what it had to be because you had deposited with that casino and I had not.

I guess this is another incentive for people to deposit though. 🙂
