It is possible. It only takes one bad employee to steal your address details and it could have been from anywhere. An online casino, shoe shop, bank, wherever. There is no real way of knowing.

All I can say is that I have played at hundreds of online casinos and I have never received any kind of fraud through the mail. I get heaps of spam in my email, no doubt, but I have never been scammed like that.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I guess it depends on the type of casino you have been playing at, but I second Ed's statement: I have never gotten frauded by online casinos. However, I would not put it past them to sell your information as I have gotten spam emails and the occasional land based letter trying to get me to a new casino that is not affiliated with any other one that I have played with.

Bottom line is to be careful where you play and to who you give your personal information to. Last thing you want is to have some Kenyan Prince walking off with your hard earned casino winnings!
