QuatroCasino( aka CasinoRewards) scammed me!

12 replies • Last post

Hi,
I just want to let you know that I was involved in scamming scheme from CasinoRewards . If you go on webmaster forums these days, you will find thousands of accounts from decent, honest people who say that some online casinos scammed them. Here is my story about CasinoRewards and how they scammed me, hoping that you will not make my mistakes to play in this casino network.
Usually I am not playing in online casino, since I am poker player i know very well that the math is not in my favour in these casino games. So one day i received a bonus promotion, telling me that if i deposit at least 1 eur, i will get immediately 20 eur.I read the terms of the promo telling me that i will be able to withdraw my money once i put at least 1000 eur on risk.
So I decided to deposit and have some fun, never expecting NOT to lose my money. However, after i reached the bonus requirements i had like 600++ EUR in my account, so i decided to request cashout for 550 EURto my moneybookers account. The rest of the money i lost in different games.I read in their FAQ, that they need from 1 to 2 business days to approve the payment and send the money.... After 4 business days i contacted their live support asking them what happend with my money. They said that i have to send them ID copies, CC copies and Utillity Bill for the account verification.Thats not really a problem so i sent these documents right away. The problem was that they are supposed to contact me through email or phone to ask me for the documents, right? In stead they just waited for me to reach their live support... here is where the things start getting messy.
After 4-5 days my account was locked and all my winnings confiscated. The reason is that the name of my Moneybookers account and the name of my casino account are different 😕 😕 .
I sent them like 4-5 emails wanting to get some kind of proof that the names are different. Most of the time they are ignoring me, but sometimes send me back an answer with 1 sentence which is something like that
"As we have advised you we have concluded our investigation on your account." .I told them that I am willing to send them screenshots proving that the names of my accounts are same, but they are simply ignoring me.

I am sending the link of this thread to their support now, really hoping they will finally stop ignoring me and answer in frount of all the members here.
Thanks.

Hello Momchil. I have contact details for someone at Rewards so I will pass on this info to them. I have always found them to be honest in their dealings with players, so it is very unlikely that they have scammed you.

To be honest a screenshot of a web page is not going to help much as it is trivial to change it with either photoshop or a web developer extension in the browser.

Alright - Casino Rewards got back to me and said that when you were told your withdrawal was blocked due to the details on the Moneybookers account being different to your casino account, you changed the name details on the Moneybookers account. Moneybookers confirmed this change with Rewards.

Moneybookers can and will confirm your name with a casino (if asked) when you make a withdrawal.

It looks to me that they have some pretty good evidence that you are not who you say you are, and under their terms this is grounds for having your account locked.

For anyone else wondering why any of this is a problem - casinos generally only let you withdraw to an account in your own name to protect themselves from multi-accounters (people who sign up lots of accounts under fake names to claim bonuses then withdraw on the ones they win on). Also in some jurisdictions which regulate online gambling, it is a requirement under anti money laundering legislation.

This is simply ridiculous.
If they have some kind of evidence, why they are not sending any of them to me?🤷
And you probably know, but there is no way to change any of your information in Moneybookers.
Could you please ask them to send them any proof to my email or post it here?!?
They are simply ignoring me, not answering me.I am pretty sure they are just mad that i took 550 eur from their casino with just 1 eur.

That is not true. It is possible to change the name on your MB account as you can see in the image below.

I cannot send you the email from Rewards as they specifically asked me not to forward it to anybody.

If you have someone from MB willing to contradict this then please get them to contact me using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this page. I will get the email.

Ok it appears that there is a way to change your moneybookers name.
But how I said i have never changed my Moneybookers name and i will prove it.
I already sent email to Moneybookers to confirm that my name has never been changed, from the moment i created the account till now.
Just let me get the response and i will let you know.
Thanks

This is the email printed and not printed viewed through different browsers:

If you still think that these photos could be fake, you have the Ticket of the conversation which is 150717540 so you can ask the support about the truth of this conversation.

Like I said, you will have to get someone from Moneybookers to contact me if you want me to pursue this.
They will not disclose information like this to a 3rd party, so it is pointless for me to ask them.

Ok looks like a clarification is in order. I chased this up with Rewards once again and Momchil did not in fact change the name on his Moneybookers account and I apologise for relaying that message.

What he apparently did do is attempt to withdraw to a Moneybookers account with a name that did not match the name on his casino account, which is a no-no for reasons given above. He has then posted screenshots of his own MB account which he never attempted to withdraw to in the first place. This is where the confusion over "change of name" has arisen.

Sorry Momchil, I like helping players out but I don't like having my time wasted by people who aren't being honest with me.

CL-Ed I promise you that i ve made the withdraw to this account of mine. Why would i decide to withdraw to someone elses account, when this account is fully verified and never used in the CasinoRewards system?I mean this is ridiculous...
And dont you think its odd that at first they said "He changed his name" .As soon as I proved i ve never changed my name, they put on the scene another dummy reason 🙂 .
So now they are ignoring me and they are not sending me a proof.I mean if they are not sending a proof to me, who they can send it to?I mean arent they supposed to show me the proof?
If you look through the eyes of a random non-gambling member of the internet, without knowing what a online giant CR are, I believe you will think my way.
How could they claim for almost 2 weeks that i have changed my name and that is my fraud and as soon as i proved them wrong, they changed their reason...
If they can tell me the Moneyebookers account to which they are claiming i am withdrawing i am pretty sure i can do something more at this case, but till then i am helpless. They simply dont want to have conversation with me and it seems that the casino forums dont want me talking too.
Good Luck, guys.
Thank you.

How did they scam you, rayway74? As Ed pointed out earlier in the thread, momchildobrev was not being honest with all of the details in the situation. It doesn't appear that Casino Rewards scammed the previous poster.

What did they do to you?
