Mobile Casinos

9 replies • Last post

The new wave here seems to be mobile casinos. I have to admit that these would make me a little nervous. Having my favorite slots on my phone would be way too tempting. Not sure I could be trusted. It certainly is convenient.

I was curious to know how many CL members are familiar with mobile casinos. What are your favorites or are you avoiding them?

The whole idea of the mobile gambling experience seems cool to me. Like you however I would be very wary of the fact that it would be very easy to gamble where I would otherwise be unable to. For instance, sitting in my doctor's waiting room would likely see me lose out on cards AND a co-payment!

I do really like the idea of sportsbook betting at the palm of my hands though. I love that you have up to the minute stats and everything available which allows you to make the ideal bet.

I know for a fact that Ed knows of some apps that are UK only at the moment, but he would have to be the one to recommend any of these apps (if they even work for Americans).

Timely topic - we're actually going through our database at the moment and trying to add information about casinos that have mobile versions. The whole thing should be ready in a few weeks time.

32 Red has a real money blackjack app, but its UK only at the moment. Several other Microgaming casinos like All Slots have a mobile versions for various phones using software from Spin3.

I'm not convinced about them to be honest. The small screen size is a drawback but its mostly that I don't feel the need to gamble all the time. But then again I'm not one of those young'uns who almost live on their mobile phones either! (just realised I'm making myself sound older than I really am).

I agree with Slim, mobile sports betting is where its at for me. There are plenty of mobile sports betting apps and they come in handy if you need to get a bet on before a game starts or even if you are sitting at the game...

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing at a new casino.

I think when gambling went online, many people thought that it was tempting having their fav. slots in their PC-s, now it goes mobile and you think you won't resist the temptation 😂 Soon it will be in our refrigerators, TV-s, Washing machines 😂:D LOL

Now as for the matter, seriously, I've not tried mobile casino yet, but I think it will be coll 😎 despite the small screen, I still think it'll be cool to have one in my mobile, although I know I might very soon be ripped off 😜

Playing casino games on my phone doesn't seem like it would be very enjoyable. The small screen would be a major negative for me. I am not an avid sports bettor so this would probably not be an option for me. I'll stick with online and land casinos!

It depends for me. We all prefer to play on a larger screen with the whole pack of emotions, but when traveling or just sitting and waiting, mobile gambling seems quite a good way to kill the time

I love mobile gaming! I like being able to play whenever I like - while your waiting at the bus stop for example, just whip out your phone and you're off.

The main reason I like gambling is casinos. For me the surroundings are the best thing to love about gambling. The sound of the slots playin', roulette ball rollin' and the looks of people at the Poker table. That's what worths gambling. The atmosphere itself is the most amazing and magnetic thing. That's why I think mobile and PC versions are just for lonely people trying to spend their money to pass the time.

I agree on everything, except poker table 😂 I do not know rules, so poker players facial expressions seem to be somewhat funny for me 😂
