I ve visited the casino at the empire on my UK Trip. Great atmosphere, it spreads over two levels, but its not a very huge casino overall. Very friendly and helpful dealer.

btw. you need a suit.

thats their website: http://www.thecasinolsq.com

I thought I would just go aroundthere lolz..I prefer easy going casinoes rather than places where are alot of troubles , specially dress code. But do they have alot of people playing? I mean do I have to wait alot to play ?

Hmm I took a look at their website and they say you can go in with jeans and trainers as long as you are dressed neatly.

Yes despite rumours to the contrary there are plenty of casinos in London for those of us without a suit or an oil based middle eastern economy to finance our gambling habits...

When I am there I use one of the Gala casinos, particularly the one on Queensway or the small one hidden away in Russell Square. I also like the Golden Nugget on Shaftesbury Avenue for the odd punt.

They can all get busy though (obviously) especially in the evenings, and check in can be rather like checking onto a budget airline sometimes mayhem-wise, but hey it is London. Good natured crowd at the tables, high % of non Brits playing too so no worries about stuff being lost in translation as the croupiers are helpful (albeit in a fairly blunt fashion at 3am... 🙂

Drinks can be strong so beware, but delivered to you as you play by attentive chicks who will expect a tip & if you don't just like Oliver Twist you can forget any second helpings....

Good luck and God speed.

Do they comp you with the strong drinks or do you have to pay for them?

C.O.D. mate I am afraid, unless you are playing for big bucks.... the casinos I am talking about are not too glitzy but very central and accept just about any adult with a pulse and some $$ to blow as 'members'. Plenty of other smarter casinos in town too but the better decor comes with fussier membership rules and dress codes as one would expect.
