My wife and I are thinking about taking a trip to Myrtle Beach this summer. They have two cruise ships that will take you 10 miles offshore to gamble. Anyone ever been on The Big M or SunCruz ships? If so, how are they and what would you recommend for someone going on them.
Any advice is appreciated!
I have never been but that sounds like heaven to me!
I agree CL-Savannah, that sounds like a heaven ! should be great ! why are you still thinking of it ? just read the reviews and you'll get the full answer to your question !

I want to go there so much! barbadosslim93 have you been there or are still planning ? Please share your experience I really wanna know if it's worth taking a cruise trip or not....
I am actually planning on going in just about a month. I leave from Detroit to Myrtle Beach August 9th and will hopefully be winning big at blackjack on the 11th!
Oh my god!!! I am buying a tickets to USA right now!Where I can find more information about this (or similar) trip?
Oh good luck barbadosslim! Lots of lucky dust.
Hey barbadosslim93 that;s so great!!!!! I am sure the journey will be cool! Wish you luck at your big blackjack
I've never heard of that before, but searched and see what I found....
Some more good photos as well, but I think it's enough to create an overall impression....
Slim - did you do this trip? Was it fun? Thinking its time I took to the tables on the high seas and looking at options so your input would be great. Thanks
No, yellowboots, we did not end up going on the cruise ship. We instead went to Atlantic City because there was a better chance of a hurricane hitting Myrtle Beach.
I did have a friend who did one and said they are nice though. You have to wait until you are in international waters until you can gamble, but in the meantime they do have a bar and buffet to provide food for the ride. He said he had crab legs on his!
Hope this helps yellowboots!
Slim - certainly helps me about the buffet but what did your friend say about the gambling on the cruise? My real interest is whether casinos on cruise ships are honest as I quite like the idea of going on a cruise for a week but would like to win enough on board to pay for the trip...
I just spoke to my buddy last night and he said the gambling was good. He played mainly blackjack and three card poker and came out ahead by about 300 bucks.
He said it was cool because after all was said and done, he went on the back of the cruise ship and chilled out on a lounger and enjoyed the cocktails and ride back to the mainland. This was also in Florida, so it may be substantially warmer than Myrtle Beach.
