What Do You Really Think?

21 replies • Last post

This is a place to say what you really think about a person, a situation or a business or anything else you can think of, WITHOUT mentioning any names.

There are times I can't do everything that you think I should be able to do! You being upset or disappointed doesn't help me! Get over it!

Good idea, LM! Another venting thread, and I like the idea of being able to tell someone off without having to say it to them, lol!

I will be back. 😉

Apparently it helped because I don't feel the anger anymore. 🙂

Sometimes, just writing something out, even in a letter that you eventually throw away DOES help. Writing is a good release, IMHO.

Here is my vent for the day: PLEASE people clean up after your PETS! You made a commitment when you bought a pet/DOG, and if you don't enjoy picking up dog POOP (NONE of us DO enjoy such a task!) then you should not have decided to have a dog!!! I don't enjoy stepping in your dogs messes or having me, or MY dog, dragging in the germs you leave around for us to get sick! I don't want to throw away yet ANOTHER pair of shoes, so maybe you would like to buy me a new pair of shoes every time I can't get YOUR dog's poo off my shoe!!!! 😠 😠 💣 :'( ✋

Hope, I agree. I have seen people at pet parks look around when their dog poops, and if they think no one is watching, they leave it. I appreciate dog owners who clean up after their pets. Also, as you mentioned, pet droppings are a health hazard. We had a problem with people not picking up after their dogs and one of our dogs got something which had to be treated with an antibiotic. The vet said it was from people not picking up dog droppings. I think in this state, if you don't pick it up, you can be fined $100.00. I would like to know if they have ever fined anyone.

I love the use of all your faces, especially the STOP one. lol

LOL, well it just gets me so angry! I am totally convinced, that summer before last, when Otis was SO sick that we almost lost him, and the vet was convinced he had cancer (which it was confirmed by an ultra-sound that he did NOT) that he picked something up from the same. I am 99.9% certain! 😢

People quit bumping your BASS! I like my music the much as the next person, but that doesn't mean the next person wants to hear my music! Would you like it if you were trying to work, concentrate, read, watch a TV show or movie, had a darn headache, and all you here is BUMP BUMP BUMP???!!!! Go bump your "darn" bass in your own ears and heads! Use headphones or just plain TURN DOWN THE BASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And management and security? YOU totally SUCK, because I have given up calling, because you never do a thing about it anyway, and when you do they are back to it an hour later. You aren't giving them any reason to keep it down, so why should they bother? YOU TOTALLY SUCK!!!!!!! 😠 💣

Oh! And then management, you tell me to just call the police? REALLY? Do you think the police don't have something better to do with their time in the darn ghetto? !!! 🤷? !!!! I would be so embarrassed to call 911 to report MUSIC BUMPING! You are just too lazy to do your jobs, so you give me that great advice. Why do you even BOTHER to hire security? You make NO sense you ignorant, useless, ineffective excuses for management and security!

Whew. That felt good. lol

Have you gone shopping at retail store lately..? Shoppers just go right and drop clothes on the floor and the fitting rooms are even worst! They leave personal trash everywhere. Pick it up people and put it back to where it belong....!! 😠 I really feel sorry for the salespersons' going home late to clean up your mess. It's a real job but they have families to go home too! There you go.....

Another thing ..... you're following a slow moving car while you're almost late to work! You're about to hit turbo boost but the cop is right behind you..... grrrrrrrr!!!

You tell 'em Hope! They sound too lazy, as you said, to do their job or too afraid to do their job. Most leases say if you bother your neighbors, you can be kicked out. I think after a couple of warnings, they should either be fined or given a warning. After so many warnings, you have to move. I hated living in apartments. We had a guy next to us who worked 2nd shift. Just as we were about to go to bed, he would turn on his music. I can remember it playing for hours! The police would think you were crazy if you called about loud music. Now maybe if it was a gunshot, they would come?

I use to work at a retail store. I worked in the lingerie department. We had these cubicles of underwear. People would constantly go through them and mess them up which then we had to re-fold again. They were also in these glass cubicles. We constantly had to wash the glass off. The weirdest thing I ever had happen there that was two girls came into together and wanted to use the same fitting room. There isn't much room in one of those things for one person let alone two.

The thing about drivers here.....grrrrrrrr.......they will go really slow if it's a one lane road, but the second it's about to split to two lanes, they almost always speed up, then you can't get around them!

Then the other extreme, they drive really fast! They get in a lane that is ending and try their best to floor the car and get around. I usually just go the same speed and let them fly by me. I don't really care but it does bug me when they get in a lane they know is ending and then want to get in front of me.

Did you ever hear the saying that if you kill a spider it will rain? lol My grandma used to tell me that. I used to let spiders out, because they eat other bugs, including misquitos (sp?), but sometimes we don't have a choice, esp. in the winter. One time, I told my ex-boyfriend to get a spider, and he said, "Oh, that's just a house spider." LMBO! My boys and I thought that very strange. WTH is a HOUSE SPIDER? lol! 🤷 🤔

I can handle spiders and bugs, but my worst fear is June bugs (they are so crunchy and sound so darn gross hitting the windows) and centipedes. Both send chills up my spine and turn my blood to water, lol!

My mom is full of all kinds of sayings and superstitions but I never have heard about the rain/spider one. I don't like June bugs either except to photograph. Do they bite? Centipedes are creepy.

I don't know if June Bugs bite, because I run as fast as I can when I see one, lol. On the occasion when one gets in the house (not for a long time, thankfully) my boys laugh their butts off at my reaction. I mean I REALLY REALLY panic!

Here! Take this ONE DOLLAR, and go to the dollar store, and PLEASE buy yourself some deodorant. NO, not because you stink, but because you really think I do not see the MAN underarm hairs on my nice, girly deodorant that I treated myself to by not buying the cheapest kind for a change and actually buying something I liked, yes ME....I...liked, because it is Secret Invisible Solid, Fresh Effects, the Orange Blossom Verbena, when I usually buy the cheapest deodorant I can find on the shelf, but I wanted to for ONCE feel special and smell, oh so pretty, so I splurged and treated myself to DEODORANT for heaven's sake!

Then, I open the deodorant to put some on and it is all uneven, and you can't even bother to wipe off the gross MAN underarm hairs? REALLY? 🤷 😠 💣 💣 🤢 🤢

I don't want to resort to hiding my deodorant, but I WILL!

So, kindly take this dollar, and drive yourself to the DOLLAR STORE, and if you do NOT then take the dollar and shove it where the sun don't shine!!! 😈

This is one of the disadvantages of having so many BOYS in ones life. I have ALL male relatives except my mom, SILs and my niece. All others are brothers, sons, nephews...all boys, boys, boys! I am always the only girl, and sometimes I think I have turned into a man, lol! I do have to be both mom and dad, often, and I have through the years, too. I knew you would get a kick out of that one. lol

Yes, that almost made me sick. I know there are people like him too in real life.
