I YELLED! because I had slept over and was late for more than hour at my workplace 😕

Fortunately, my boss isn't very strict to my being-almost-always-late attitude, but I had too much things to do 😕

Every morning, I say, "Just ten more minutes," when someone comes to tell me I must get up. I get teased about saying this all the time, lol. I press snooze without fail, at least two or three times. Most times I am running to the bathroom when I wake up, because that is what usually wakes me up, in the end, lol. Today was the same.

SG, go look in the thread, "News Stories you have to See...." or something like that. I am posting an article I saw BEFORE reading this thread that says, "10 Weird Excuses Workers Have Used When Late." These are supposed to be real excuses that boss's have heard, so maybe you can use one or two....in the future. 😉

Today, the first thing I did was turn on the coffee maker, which I always set up the night before, then grabbed my cup of java to get my morning boost! ☕

When I woke up, I went back to sleep or tried to sleep over the sound of snow blowers running. I used to have a neighbor who would start their snowblower at 5:30 in the morning!

Oh, I used to not like it at all when those neighbors would run the snowblowers, or even lawn mowers, either really early in the morning or super late at night (with their lawn mowers with headlights, lol). Drove me crazy!

Today I ran to the bathroom and then straight to the coffee pot. I guess that is what I do most mornings. If Otis is still in bed, I talk to him and pet him a while first. 🙂

I think the first thing I always do is a bathroom visit. Next I had something to eat. The rest is a blur this late in the day.

I opened my wardrobe door to choose what to wear, but didn't succeed at first try and had to think again after bathroom 😂

I always press snooze, without fail, SG, AND I set my clock way ahead. It is so ridiculous, really, because I KNOW what time it really is, lol! I found out my SIL does the same thing, so I am not alone in this silly practice! I also have difficulty choosing what to wear, oftentimes. I used to try on three outfits before I got it right.

I worked with a woman who would set out an entire week's worth of outfits on Sunday night and iron them all! Now that is being organized and it would save so much time. I am not that organized. 😢 lol

Oh, that is too funny and cute. Your cat is not spoiled, he/she is LOVED! That is what I say about our furbabies. haha! You should take a video of the cat drinking from the sink. My cat and dog always get us up to feed them, but I usually leave the morning meal to my sons and I feed them their dinner, since I am NOT a morning person. 🙂

This thread could get awfully boring for my reporting, because I do the same thing every day and that is run for the coffee maker! ☕

My cat used to do that too but she also liked to sleep in the sink. That was her secure place. Sometimes she would be wet from water in the sick but she didn't care. What kind of cat do you have?

As newbies post we will have more to talk about. The first thing I did today after getting up was to check my email.

My boys are both domestic short hair. One was a strayed cat & the other I adopted it from my co-worker. She has 8 kittens that time (bless her heart).

Several of my pets have been strays. At one time I had two dogs and two cats, now only one dog.

Good for both of you for adopting those animals in NEED. I bought my dachshund from a breeder, and my son bought his cat from a local, no-kill shelter. If I ever get another dachshund, I will definitely go through dachshund rescue. Cats have even less of a chance of making in shelters, but my middle son is so allergic that I probably will never have a cat once my youngest son moves out with his cat, but I love them all!

Your animals were, and are, blessed to have you both!

Today I ran for the coffee pot (THAT routine never changes) then opened my computer to Casino Listings while I got ready to go to St. Paul, (our capital) Minnesota. I just got home about 1 and 1/2 hours ago.

Thanks Hope. I always said that animals know who will take them in. I just have a special place in my heart for animals. They give so much and ask for so little in return. All they really want is to be loved, fed and taken care of. (like most people...lol)

I know we both feel the same about animals and our pets! 🙂

Today I grabbed my cup of java and finished a chapter of my book, because I am almost to the end, and I feel asleep in the middle of a chapter last night.

The first thing I did today was to tell oldest son to leave me alone and let me SLEEP! He did not, so I gave up and got myself up and went straight to the ☕

I pressed snooze again! Then my oldest son did his thing and woke me up, so I got up, grabbed my glass of water and chatted with him while I waited for my ☕ to be done. Then I signed in here to "wake up with CL," before I move on to my work. 😨
