What dreams have you had lately?

I think this might be fun to share some dreams we have had. Who knows maybe someone in here is intuitive and can tell us about the future.

I certainly hope my dream this morning is not going to come true. My boyfriend and I were apparently homeless and just driving around in our car. We have a lab but he was not with us. That makes me really upset now. Sad It was near a holiday in the summer. I'm thinking it must have been the 4th of July. We kept driving around stopping to watch animals. There was an animal drinking from a stream. I don't remember what kind of animal now.

Eventually I was cooking some chicken and noodles or chicken and rice in this young guy's house. His mom was not there but his grouchy grandpa would be home soon. It was such a bad feeling knowing I only had a temporary place to be.

Yesterday my dream was thatI was at a casino. The casino is not one I'm familiar with. I know it had a long hall. lmbo

Any insight?

I had two dreams that I remember parts of. One was that there were magnificent shapes going on in the sky. A lot of people were out of their houses watching the shapes/designs change.

The second dream was that these round bombs were coming down from the sky. We were watching them explode in the distance. We could see the pieces of ground explode into the air. Next the bombs were getting closer to us. They were soon in our side yard. We went into the house and prayed they would not hit it. Usually there were 3-4 bombs dropping at a time.

You are dreaming a lot about war, lately, LM! Do you think it is from watching movies or are you "at war," in some other way as the dream interpretation peeps would say? lol

The dream with the shapes actually sounds kind of cool! Smile

Not at war with anything or anybody really, no more than usual. I haven't watched any war movies for weeks. I did watch the aurora borealis so maybe that's where that dream is coming from.

I only remember part of this dream. There was a horse in the bedroom. It was near the door but facing into a corner. I was going to go let it outside when this man who was on the floor caught my attention. He told me not to bother with the horse. I bent down to help him out. He turned over and had only a couple of teeth. He was also holding a bottle of beer. That's all I remember.

The other dream was about a house with a long driveway. It had recently had some updates to the landscaping. The house was a two story older house, the driveway was on the right and curved a little. That's all I remember.

Any interpretations from anyone?

According to the online dream dictionary, a horse could mean any of the following:

"To see a horse in your dream symbolizes strength, power, endurance, virility and sexual prowess. It also represents a strong, physical energy. You need to tame the wild forces within. The dream may also be a pun that you are "horsing around". Alternatively, to see a horse in your dream indicate that you need to be less arrogant and "get off your high horse."

"To see a black or dark horse in your dream signifies mystery, wildness, and the unknown. You are taking a chance or a gamble at some unknown situation. It may even refer to occult forces. If the horse is white, then it signifies purity, prosperity and good fortunes. To dream that you are being chased by a white horse may be a pun on chaste. Perhaps you are having difficulties dealing with issues of intimacy and sexuality."

The horse WAS, after all, in the bedroom, lmao! J/K Wink

Here is what the site says about a driveway:

"To see or drive up to a driveway in your dream symbolizes an end to your journey. It also represents security and rest. Alternatively, it denotes your path toward achieving inner peace and finding your spirituality."

If you want to explore further, I found the above at the following site:

http://www.dreammoods.com/

I used the drop down dictionary under the "Dream Dictionary" heading.

I was fixing an old boxy computer out of the ordinary inside this glassy environment. The weather outside was bright blue sky and sunny. I knew by heart I can do it! Next thing I noticed, I was climbing with a ladder made of wood that was almost half-way there inside an old dirty building like a barn . I was getting frustrated that I may not able to reach on the top. It went up fast without me.... Sleep it was just a dream!

Sounds interesting. So the ladder went up with you on it still or without you?

Here is what I found about a ladder, on the same site I listed above, Ubetcha:

Ladder
To dream that you are climbing up a ladder suggests that you have reached a new level of achievement. It is symbolic of prosperity, hard work and your efforts. Consider also the phrase of "climbing the social ladder" in which you have achieved a promotion, a higher status, more power, or an important goal. Alternatively, it indicates meditation and prayer. You are setting forth on a spiritual path and higher awareness. Each rung of the ladder is symbolic of a stage in your spiritual awareness. The dream may also highlight how you are looking things from a different perspective.

To dream that you are climbing down a ladder suggests that you are escaping from your spiritual responsibilities. It is an indication of future disappointments.

To dream that you are walking under a ladder signifies bad luck. Perhaps you are having regrets over a decision you made.

To dream that someone is holding a ladder for you indicates that you will find success if you have the support of others. You will rise to a level of prominence.

To dream that you fall from a ladder denotes the hardships, risks or failures you are faced with in your endeavors.

To see a broken ladder in your dream indicates consistent failures in your undertakings. You may feel that you are being handicapped in pursuing your goals.

To dream that you escape by means of a ladder signifies that you will be successful after much struggle and obstacles.

Here is what www.dreammoods.com says about mud:

Mud
To see mud in your dream suggests that you are involved in a messy and sticky situation. It also suggests that some spiritual cleansing is needed.

To dream that you are walking in mud suggests that you are feeling weighed down by a situation, problem, or relationship. You are feeling frustrated.

To dream that mud has gotten on your clothing means that your reputation is being attacked and called into question. Consider the term "mud-slinging" to refer to some politicians.

The last one I looked up is glass house, and here is what it says:

Glass House
To see a glass house in your dream suggests that you need to be cautious about what people are telling you. They may be telling you what you want to hear, and not necessarily what you need to hear.

To dream that you are living in a glass house signifies a threat to your reputation. It may also suggest that you are being watched or are under scrutiny. Consider the proverb of how people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. In other words, the dream may be advising you not to criticize others, especially if you are also guilty of those same faults. You need to be more accepting.

Sometimes, I believe dreams have meaning, and sometimes I believe they are just plain nonsense, lol.

I had a scary dream last night about my oldest son. I only remember it, because I woke up right after. I may or may not post later, because it was not a pleasant dream.

Yeah, that website is pretty thorough and cool, too. My dream was really crazy. I will try to write it out later, because it wasn't very long either, but very strange. I told my youngest son about it, because he was not very nice in the dream, lol!

You are welcome! Easy to look up, and that site covers a lot of categories.

Yikes! I had another horrible dream last night about my youngest son! I hope it is NOT a premonition and just a mom who tends to be a worrier when it comes to her sons. Sad

I'm sure your sons are protected. Was it the same dream? I've had dreams that have been the same several times that did come true. Sending out prayers for your boys. Smile

I had a dream a few weeks ago, but I still remember parts of it. My bf and I moved into a new house. The house was not new in construction, but new to us. We were standing on the second floor and the house had no outside walls. Everything was open.

I think walls can be seen as hurdles. I looked it up and it said it could mean a lack of privacy. Well we all have that anymore. I had the feeling it was after a tornado. The thing about it is that everything inside was still in place, just the outer walls gone all around the house.

Freedom sounds good though Hope. Smile

I had a very involved dream last night, and I WISH I had gotten up and written it all down, but I was just so tired. I kept telling myself I would remember it all, but today now all I can remember is there were elephants in the dream, lol! I went through the dream in my mind several times, so as to remember it, and today: nothing but elephants! Sad

Here is what the dream guide says about elephants:

"To see an elephant in your dream indicates that you need to be more patient or more understanding of others. Or perhaps there is a memory that you are holding on to for too long. You need to let go of the past. The elephant is also a symbol of power, strength, faithfulness and intellect. Alternatively, the elephant's introverted personality may be a reflection of your own personality. In particular, if you see a white elephant, then it symbolizes royalty."

The elephant was NOT white, as I recall. I remember there were two elephants, but I have no idea about the rest of the dream. Sad

LM, I know you are fond of elephants, lol! Smile

Any dream about elephants has to be good. Right? Were their trunks up?

I had a dream last week that had something to do with a killer. When I woke up, it was a dream that I didn't really want to remember. I'm thinking maybe I watched a show with something about killing in it. It was not a good dream. Sad

I can't remember much about the elephants. Just that there were two of them, and I am still kicking myself that I didn't try harder to get up and write some things down, because I NEVER remember my dreams anymore. Unlike your dream, I remember wanting to go back to sleep and continue the dream, then thought to myself, "that doesn't usually work," lol, because I was just talking to someone about that last week (how we usually can't continue a good dream when we want to, lol).

There have been so many times where I knew for sure I would remember the dream. I knew in my head that I didn't usually remember dreams once I was awake. The thing is, I was so sure that I would remember the dream. I went over the dream several times in my head to memorize it. I am usually so sleepy that I just want to go back to bed also. I remember once in a dream I was told some very important things and I was sure I would remember them. When I was awake, I didn't remember a thing. I know the frustration. Sad

Yup! Frustration is right. I even went over it in my mind several times so I would be certain to remember, but that didn't work either. I was just WAY too sleepy to get up and try to write. Maybe if the computer had been on, but it was not.

My most recent dream was that I kept noticing the walls blacken. The walls were growing black mold on the walls and ceilings. I was talking to a real estate agent on the phone about renting a new place. The house in my dream is not the house that I am now living in. I like the idea of renting (or buying) a new place, but the black mold sounds ominous.

That does sound gross! Black mold is a horrible problem and can make people SO sick. I have dreamt, MANY times of living in homes that I don't live in now, or before, yet in my dream I knew i lived in the strange and different house.

Before we moved to our current home, I dreamt about a house with a great kitchen. I don't know if this is the same place, because I can't remember the details of that dream, but we do have a wonderful kitchen.

I am very happy to have a roof over my head, food to eat. This is the nicest kitchen I've ever had. The landlady just put in all new cabinets top to bottom. I have tons of storage. All the appliances look new. My washer and dryer are in the kitchen, which makes it very easy to get to. The w/d are at the end of the kitchen where it leads to another door, so kind of away from the kitchen. There is a skylight in the kitchen which brightens it up. I will definitely miss the kitchen when we move, but that is about the only thing.
