How I Spent My CL Chips!

Ok, I was jacked with the CL chip shop. I redeemed two sets of points for Amazon Gift Certificates. Amazon is the best store in the world; you can get anything there. I thought it would be cool to start a thread to pump up the shop and share what you got with your chips.

I used my Chips (Amazon cards) to buy: A book called the Modern Drunkard, Lord of War Blu Ray, Keurig Coffee, and a book about the Detroit Red Wings/Colorado Avalanche hockey rivalry.

Thanks Casino Listings!

Awesome, Luckywalker. I have also enjoyed being introduced to Kiva via CL. I agree it is an awesome experience. I want to help everyone, and sometimes it is difficult to choose. However, it is still nice to know we can do "a little something" to help someone continue in their business venture.

I agree with all you say in your post. 🙂

I agree that it is sometimes hard to choose who to loan money to. I find that a lot of time I lend to people who grow crops. They are helping to feed others, so that is important to me. I wish I could loan to everyone.

It would be nice if we can also use our CL chips at Slots Capital Casino. Are they a sister casino of Sloto' Cash?

I requested a $20 Amazon Gift Card @ CL Store. I had ordered and received my USB Flash Drive. My next request will be JustGive.org egiftcard. I'm still debating which charity to donate.

Good for you LuckyMe, you're such a wonderful person! I have been relending my Kiva to other people in need of loans across the globe.

I am also relending my current Kiva investments.

I was recently able to send for an iPod for my middle son. Through the EXTREME generosity of CL, I have now been able to give all three of my sons a gift I would have never been able to get them on my own: each an iPod Touch (plus one for me when I won it when I first joined here: AMAZING!!!).

For future I plan to use for much-needed and "never can afford" supplements and natural meds ordered by my doctor and/or save for Amazon bucks for this coming Christmas (really helps supplement that holiday spending).

Don't forget to use Ebates on your Amazon purchases for a 3% rebate. It adds up quick.

(here is my referral code if anyone is interested.)

That is great to hear Hope. It really is amazing the things that this site allows its users to earn. I can only think of a couple other websites that come close.

This place is so simply amazing, and I still cannot believe how generous this site is to give us these points just for posting and having fun with CL Friends!

I have been able to order vitamins and supplements ordered by my doctor that I am unable to afford at the time, due to funds being low.

Recently, I was able to cash in more Amazon and order my mom two books she wanted for Mother's Day.

And I am re-watching The Shield with my sons, so I just ordered Seasons Four and Five, and I can't wait until they arrive. And I still have a little leftover when it is time to order Six and Seven (final Season) OR I might order Justified, a season or two, for my friends who have a son who is a U.S. Marshall.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop in and say THANKS!

My Kiva loan is paid back again, too, so I have to go choose someone else to loan that credit to.

Thank you, CL, for making it ALL possible! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Yes, it is so nice to treat myself to something I would not ordinarily be able to buy. And sometimes what I DO order is a need, and sometimes I treat myself. Again, this place is SO amazing!

I thought some of the newbies might like to know how we spend our CL chips. I just recently bought some lights for my photography. I can't wait to get them. Thanks again CL-Ed for the chips.

I like to hear what others have bought with their CL chips too.

So you are a point hoarder, 'Slim? lol Keep on saving for that Lamborghini. Maybe one will pop up on Amazon for you. 😉

I was able to re-loan my initial Kiva loan. I paid the last 25 dollars toward a loan where a man wanted to build an indoor bathroom for his family. It was fun to help him reach his goal. Whenever I browse on Kiva, I count my blessings.

I also bought more medicines/supplements (doctor ordered) and vitamins. I also bought some fun stuff: TV series, gifts for family and friends, and even some perfume I found that I loved (I am very fussy about perfume, and I found some at Walmart - Beyonce's Heat Rush) then was able to find it much cheaper on Amazon. That is my little treat to myself.

I am going to try hard to now save for only my vitamins and supplements and gifts for others, especially to start saving toward Christmas, plus an occasional Kiva loan.

This is way too much fun! 🙂
