Great news - Manhattan Slots has increased the bonus to $50, which is now in line with the deal their owners offer at the other casinos in the group.
The maximum withdrawal has also increased to $250.
what does 40 x B mean if I received a 100% bonus ? how much needs to be waggered to get to withdrawl anything? And what is a $250 max withdrawl if you have won $1000 or so? I would probably cash out around there if I got there... thanks, bedoin
waggering restrictions look like like Algebra to me
Ah ok, welcome to the world of online casino maths! We all know that there ain't no such thing as a free lunch right? It applies to casino bonuses and I'll give you a quick rundown.
In this case, Manhattan Slots gives you a $50 free chip (aka "no deposit bonus"). It requires 40x the bonus in wagering before you can withdraw. So 40 x $50 = $2000. Wagered dollars accumulate with every bet you make, so for example you would need to make 2000 spins at $1 on a slot machine, or 400 spins at $5.
If you try to withdraw before reaching the minimum required wagers, the casino should just refuse your withdrawal.
Also take note that the casinos almost always restrict which games you may play while claiming a bonus. In this case at Manhattan Slots you can only play slots or keno. If you play a different game while on the bonus the casino may void your winnings! The reason they do this is because some games can be far more favourable to the player (think blackjack or craps), and therefore can be used to win a large amount of the bonus money without much risk.
Almost all free chips have their winnings capped. So for this one if your balance is over $250 after completing the wagering requirements, you will only be able to withdraw $250.
Now a 100% bonus is a little different from a free chip. That means that whatever you deposit, the casino will match 100% in bonus money. So you deposit $50 and the casino gives you an extra $50 to play with. The same wagering policy applies.
BUT, some casino bonuses are cashable, and some are non-cashable! Cashable just means that once you complete the wagering requirements you can withdraw the bonus. Non-cashable means that the casino subtracts the bonus amount from your balance before you withdraw. e.g. if you deposited $50, were awarded an extra $50 bonus, and your balance ended at $120, when you made your withdrawal you would only be able to withdraw $70. Obviously cashable bonuses are more valuable than non-cashable ones, but they are also rarer.
One note: many casinos list their bonus wagering requirements as something like 20x deposit plus bonus, but we convert everything to just a multiple of the bonus to keep things simple and the bonuses directly comparable.
Personally, I don't like playing any deposit bonus with a wagering requirement higher than 30xB, or maybe 40xB if they allow blackjack, because I find that it just requires too much playing time and of course a greater chance of me losing my deposit! Free chips, well they are different, I'll give them all a go regardless of wagering requirements because you have absolutely nothing to lose!
