Wild Jackpots is an online casino established in 2015 that runs on a multi-software platform offering games from a variety of suppliers. It is operated by GoWild Malta Limited and is registered under the jurisdiction of Malta. Last Updated: November 23, 2020.
Wild Jackpots Casino is an online casino operated by Go Wild Malta Limited. It is effectively a "skin" of its well known sister, GoWild Casino, resulting in both the good and bad that entails. After having spent some time at Wild Jackpots Casino, I put together this detailed evaluation of a casino with a lot going both for and against it.
Wild Jackpots recently updated their gaming platform to offer an array of games on a web-based platform. This opens the casino up to literally hundreds of games from developers that partner with the platform. The new platform opens players up to games from the likes of Net Ent, Ainsworth, GameArt, Play'n Go, and more, which can be played from both your desktop or mobile device. Unlike previous versions of the casino that were Microgaming exclusive, everything is played in your browser window, and there is no download version available any longer.
I found the Wild Jackpots website very easy to navigate and well laid out, and I was able to find any game I wanted through the search bar immediately. You can also use the genre bar to find and filter through a wider assortment of titles. I also gave the casino's mobile site a try on both my smartphone and tablet, and found that both performed admirably.
Slots are the biggest selection of games at Wild Jackpots Casino, and you will find all of Microgaming's video and classic slot titles on offer within Wild Jackpots' virtual walls, as well as several other games from the other developers mentioned above. The casino also offers progressive jackpots, including the Mega Moolah, King Cashalot, and Major Millions prizes. Table games and video poker machines are plentiful, and there is a selection of live dealer games that include live Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Casino Hold'em. The live dealer games are provided by specialist live studio suppliers Evolution Gaming and Authentic Gaming.
If there is one drawback to the fine selection of games on offer, it is the lurking presence of games from a couple of suppliers that we regard as rogue here at Casino Listings - specifically Pragmatic Play and Betsoft Gaming. Both suppliers have an awful history of conduct ranging from the merely unprofessional to the outright fraudulent. We have no confidence that you are getting a fair game when playing games from these rogue outfits, and we urge you to avoid their games if at all possible. The presence of these games at Wild Jackpots is a definite black mark against this casino.
Transacting with Wild Jackpots is easy to do and the sheer number of options that you have for depositing should mean that you have no trouble moving your money into the casino. The methods available include credit cards, popular e-wallets, and a large number of localised bank transfer services. Withdrawals are generally processed after a 48 hour pending period. My test withdrawal for this review took a couple of days to reach my Skrill account which is just about on the limit of acceptability for me. I was asked to supply identity documents even though I had already done so before at GoWild. I did note also that there is a €10,000 payout limit for each transaction, and that the casino will not pay out more than this amount in a fortnight, which they call "10 business days" to try to make it sound shorter than it really is.
In terms of customer support, the casino provides staff 24 hours per day to assist you via chat, email, and telephone. Although I never had an issue with the casino operating technically, I did contact the support staff to inquire about bonuses and kick the tyres so to speak, and found the staff reasonably quick to respond within a minute or two and knowledgeable about the questions I asked.
Part of the terms and conditions that we always analyse when conducting a casino review concerns what the casino terms "promotional abuse". These terms are designed to protect a casino from advantage players. However I found the terms at Wild Jackpots to be particularly objectionable due to their vague and all encompassing nature, not to mention the fact that none of them are enforced while you are playing. Here are a few fine examples:
- Decreasing your bet amount by 60% or more after a win for the purpose of clearing Playthrough Requirements (wagering requirements) while a bonus/promotion is still active
- Switching from a game with a low wagering contribution (e.g. 25% or less) to one with a higher wagering contribution (e.g. 70% or more) after a win, for the sole purpose of clearing the Playthrough Requirements (wagering requirements) (Including, but not limited to, betting on roulette in order to generate winnings and then switching to slots in order to clear Playthrough Requirements (wagering requirements)
- Placing a bet equal to or in excess of 20% or more than €8 of the claimed Bonus amount
- Placing even money bets on Baccarat, Blackjack and Roulette
- Constantly using the double-up feature to increase winnings
For example you could probably argue that you weren't "constantly using the double-up feature" should the casino decide to ding you for it, but good luck getting them to agree. But my biggest bugbear is the fact that the casino does absolutely nothing to prevent you or help you avoid breaking these rules. Try to place a bet that is too big, or even too small based on your previous bets? Too bad, the software won't stop you and the casino can and will invalidate your winnings when you try to withdraw. I know that this is the way casinos have conducted themselves for the past decade but it is well past time for players to say enough is enough. Writing rules like this but failing to program them into the software is simply not good enough any more.
Wild Jackpots Casino goes out of its way to promote the fact that their games are fair to players and that their casino is secure as well. The casino uses SSL encryption to protect both your gameplay and personal information going both to and from the casino at all times. Wild Jackpots is licensed to operate by the Malta Gaming Authority.
Responsible gaming is addressed at Wild Jackpots Casino with the site providing a page on its site that helps describe problem gaming, identifying it, and providing information about how to contact groups that can assist you. However there are no self administered controls that allow you to limit your deposits, wagers, or time spent at the casino. Instead the casino instructs you to contact support and request them to implement the limits. The same goes for self exclusion. They need to do better in this regard.
Wild Jackpots Casino does a lot of things right, delivering a great gaming experience backed by an impressive suite of casino games. However it is undermined by a number of problems that leave me feeling that the casino is well behind the times. When you take into account the pending withdrawal delays, the rogue software suppliers, the withdrawal limits, and the vague bonus rules, it is clear to see that there are plenty of better casinos around that are more worthy of your time.
