Spinson Casino is an online casino established in 2015 that runs on a multi-software platform offering games from a variety of suppliers. It is operated by Spinson Entertainment Ltd and is registered under the jurisdictions of United Kingdom and Malta. Last Updated: April 26, 2020.
Spinson Casino is an online betting site that first came online in 2015 and operates out of Malta, where it holds a gaming license. The casino switched from the EveryMatrix platform to Aspire Global in 2018, giving it a new slate of games from several new developers. While some big things have changed with the conversion, you're still going to be getting the Spinson experience that's been in place for a while, namely fast payouts and the large selection of games. These combine to make Spinson a good spot to test your luck at.
Using the Aspire platform, Spinson offers a large library of games, namely video slots, table games, and scratch cards. Most of the games you'll come across are the slots, and there are a lot to try out. Without a doubt, games from some developers are better than others, and I can't shake the feeling that there are some games in here that serve as padding for numbers, rather than for their merits as good slots.
In addition to slots, you'll find games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, video poker, and scratch cards (yuck). The number of games here aren't nearly as plentiful as the slots, but the quality is good and there are enough variants in place to not make the games go stale. Spinson also added live dealer games since we previously reviewed them, which is a welcome change as the titles are becoming more and more common at good casinos.
I have to say that there is something about the site's design that doesn't sit quite right with me though. For example there is a large left side bar that is mainly taken up with a distracting scrolling list of recent winners, several of the tabs used to sort the games can have their text cut short, and the game provider icons are either missing or just wrong. The grid game list does not auto-load more than the first four rows of games as you scroll down so you have to keep clicking "load more" to see them all, and useful filters apart from the software provider that could help you find a game more easily are nowhere to be found. There is at least a handy quick search box that you can use if you know the name of a game. Unfortunately the design isn't really any better on a smaller mobile phone screen either. This isn't a huge issue, but it certainly doesn't do the casino any favours when comparing it to similar casinos with an equivalent list of games that are more polished in their presentation and ease of use.
The banking system at Spinson Casino is what I'd call solid. The site has deposits and withdrawals accepted through credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and various eWallets. I found that electing to withdraw funds via my Neteller account resulted in a withdrawal that was paid several hours later on the same day, which is great to see. Other methods such as bank transfers can take between 3-5 days to be completed. There are no daily or monthly withdrawal limits, though you may have to split larger withdrawals up into several transactions which can all be queued at the same time.
The customer support team has been upgraded with the recent changes as well, as you can now reach the team through email, live chat, and telephone. The chat team picked up on my request quickly and were able to point me in the right direction regarding bonus terms. I enjoy being able to instantly get assistance when I need it, so I'm happy to see the changes that have been made here.
Spinson employs standard SSL encryption technology to protect your communication both to and from the gaming and financial servers. This ensures that any gameplay and deposit or withdrawal information is encrypted during transit so that only the casino can read it. You are also able to upload proof of identification documents via the secure website rather than sending them as an email attachment.
One downside that I see with the Aspire platform is that Spinson isn't eCOGRA certified anymore. Also disappointing is the removal of published payout percentages to show that the software is fair. While we don't believe the casino is acting dishonestly, any information that can be provided to show fair play is welcome.
Responsible gaming is addressed by providing self-serviceable controls for players to set limits on their gambling activity at the site. This includes deposit, wagering and time limits. You are also able to request self exclusion if you have a gambling problem.
I think it is fair to say that while Spinson has a lot of good things going on, there is room for significant improvement based on what I have seen from other casinos that run on the exact same Aspire Global platform. It does get the main things right with a diverse range of fun games and quick withdrawal payments. However the design of the site needs work to make it more user friendly and the loss of published payout percentages and eCOGRA certification holds Spinson back from being a great casino.
