This might sound shallow, but my first impression of Royal Panda Casino was positive because their website looks great and the logo cleverly and subtly manages to make a crown look like a panda's face, or should that be the other way around? This casino is one of a seemingly endless batch of new web-based casinos featuring games from Net Entertainment and Microgaming's Quickfire platform. These games are everywhere these days, and it takes something more special than a well designed logo to make a new casino stand out from the crowd. We took a look to see how Royal Panda stacks up.
The game collection at Royal Panda is very good. The Microgaming Quickfire platform integrates a selection of the best games developed by Microgaming over the last decade. Some of Microgaming's more well know slot machines include Playboy, Jurassic Park, Immortal Romance, Avalon, and Thunderstruck II. These first class games are bolstered by fresh new titles from smaller independent developers such as Quickspin, NextGen, Leander Games and more. There are also a full collection of Net Entertainment slot machines, which are up there with the best on the market today. New and popular titles include South Park, Starburst, Gonzo's Quest, Jack Hammer, and Aliens. The majority of the table games at Royal Panda are provided by Net Entertainment. This is a good thing as the games are more modern and polished than Microgaming's offerings. Compared to the many similar web-based casinos that I have played at recently, I was not blown away by the interface at Royal Panda. It uses a standard grid layout of game logos, and categorises the games into sections using tabs. There are two sorting options that you can apply to each tab: by popularity and alphabetically A-Z. The site has a search box, but despite not having an accompanying submit button, it is not "live" like many other sites and instead relies on you to hit enter to perform your search. I was a little miffed the first time I typed something there and waited while nothing happened (yeah sure, first world problems). When you change the tab, sort preference, or perform a keyword search, the site re-lists the games without reloading the entire page which is nice, but the indicator that tells you it is working is so small and inconspicuous that a couple of times I missed it and thought that the site had not registered my clicks. So overall it is not the best user interface I have seen, but it is far from the worst.
There is an extensive list of payment methods that you can use to deposit your money into a Royal Panda account. Almost all of them credit funds to your account instantly and allow you to be playing without delay. The options for withdrawal are not so varied though, basically consisting of Neteller, Skrill, refund to a credit or debit card used to deposit, and a bank wire transfer. My test withdrawal was held while I was asked to provide proof of identification via email. Once this was supplied and approved, the withdrawal to a Skrill account was paid in a little over 24 hours, which is very good.
There is a useful help tab located on the right of your browser window everywhere you go on the website. One click of that and a sidebar slides out with the option of contacting support via live text chat, email, or telephone. The customer service at Royal Panda operates on a schedule oriented toward European customers, with help available between 9am and 10:30pm CET. Outside of those hours you are able to submit an enquiry via form that will be responded to via email or the handy telephone callback. This last option is a great idea since the only phone number provided by the casino is an international call to Malta.
The live chat facility is one of the better ones I have ever seen at an online casino. The chat client keeps a history of your discussion even after you close the window, so there's no chance of accidentally closing it and losing the transcript that you wanted to copy and paste or refer to. My talk with the staff via the live chat was handled politely and professionally, even when I tried the old "cranky player who wants to argue about the rules" routine.
Royal Panda's website is protected by an encrypted SSL connection that ensures the privacy of your gameplay and financial transactions. As mentioned earlier, identity verification is carried out via email, instead of the preferable upload over an encrypted SSL connection. The casino is licensed and regulated by the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority. The bonus system used at Royal Panda is worth commenting on because it is a little unique. When you deposit, you may be given a bonus, but when you start playing you will play with your cash deposit first. I have seen similar systems at other casinos, but what makes this one different is that only wagers made with your cash deposit count towards meeting the bonus wagering requirement. This means that once you dip into the bonus funds, you can keep playing and win more bonus money, but your wagering requirements will never go down until you deposit more cash and wager that. In that sense the bonuses at Royal Panda are more or less post-wager rewards, rather than up front bonuses.
On the other hand, you can read below complaints from a player and another one here that both had winnings from a bonus voided because they wagered above the maximum bet amount allowed in the bonus terms and conditions. Once again I see a casino that wants to protect itself from big winners but instead of programming the limits into the software so the player cannot accidentally break them, they choose to hide them in the terms and conditions and enforce them after a player unknowingly breaks them. They do this knowing full well that hardly anyone reads the terms.
There are comprehensive responsible gaming controls available in your player account settings. You have the ability to set daily or weekly deposit limits, loss limits, and wager limits, or you can self exclude yourself from the casino up until a specific date, or forever. There is also a unique session limit feature that allows you to set a reminder that will appear on the website at a defined interval, which presents you with the option of stopping and logging out or to continue playing. Can you clarify a couple of things from your story please? Are your numbers in Indian Rupees, or another currency? And I'm not sure I understand when you say you got a 9k bonus, but then later had to deposit to complete the wagering requirements. Surely you had to deposit first to get the bonus, or was the original bonus a free chip or no deposit bonus?

I’ve been an active player at this casino for a year or so, to the extent that they put me at VIP / Gold member level with all the royalty program points I had acquired.
And yet, they managed to successfully piss me off and make me close my account. The below incident happened a couple of days ago and as of today, I have formally deleted my account deepschennai with them.
Why? Read on..
I had a bonus of 9K, which I converted to 673K over a span of 10 hours. I’m fully aware of the terms and conditions which states that “bets of 700 is the max per round when playing with bonus money”.
So, that’s about 10 hours of gameplay with each bet being within the betting limit while I converted 9K bonus into 673K.
Now, come the stage of depositing money for meeting the wagering requirement, and the trouble starts. I deposit money and play. I place one bet which includes around 200 of my cash balance and 800 of my bonus balance. This is of course my mistake, but the issue is that I’m unaware of what my cash balance versus bonus balance is. Their mobile app does not show this information on the gameplay screen, so I have to leave the game and visit the “my account” section every time I want to check. So, I place this one bet that goes off the betting limit for bonus money and realise my mistake. I contact their customer support and VIP helpline and try to explain the issue. They are more than happy to help and the help I get is making my 673K bonus winnings null / 0. Zero tolerance. Though my bet included both bonus balance and cash balance, it will not be tolerated.
As highlighted by another player in this forum, the whole point of not programming the limits into the software seems to be to pounce on the player and take away their bonus winnings when there’s the slightest chance for them to do so.
Every dealer on the Royal Panda roulette table knows me very well, but they aren’t meeting me again. Bye Bye, I can guess the winning number on your Roulette but never the sleazy clauses in your terms and conditions.
My account (deepschennai) is successfully deleted as of today with Royal Panda and I’m happy to go to Draganora where they have bet limits programmed into the software. At least, I can play at peace (of mind), which is what every player wants at the end of the day.

Hi. I tried this casino, gotta say, at first it seemed legit. But as they promised the bonus (double the first deposit for up to 100 bucks) they also attached this stupid policy which can completely destroy you. It did so for me. As i brought 50 eur they gave me balance of 100. I once lost to down to 26eur, made few larger bets more than 10 eur. And as I found out later:
"In the interest of fair gaming and fraud prevention, wagers placed using bonus money are subject to a maximum bet per game round limit. In most games, the maximum bet permitted when playing with bonus money is $7.50, €7.00, £5.00, or its equivalent in another currency. In the case of the following games, these operate with a deviating maximum bet of $1.50, €1.40, £1.00, or its equivalent in another currency, when playing with bonus money: The Rift, Dead or Alive, Bloodsuckers, Kings of Chicago, Hellboy, 300 Shields. In case of a breach of this rule, the player agrees that his bonus and any associated winnings may be void."
Just so i lost all my cash (at the time i won back to up 116 eur). This customer service guy tells me about all this. Also tells me the bonus goes into play only at certain times (when you are out of your initial deposit cash), so it is completely useless but gets you into trouble. They are basicly attracting as much people as possible and taking their money out of them.
One more thing, you cant delete your account completely, they only lock it for you and for that you need to email them and go through another inconvienence, overall being mad and resulting in my case: trying to ruin their reputation. I think people should be warned about the bonus more clearly. As i got mine i only logged on, confirmed it and the terms and conditions thing didnt even need to be given a tick, as you would have read them.

I payed €50,- and received a bonus of €25,-. I played around €570,- in "Dead or Alive", betting €0,90 per spin. €875,- were necessary to fulfil bonus terms. I won ~€1500,-. Vigorous, I increased bet per spin to €1,80. I won €4000,-. The winnings were voided because maximum bet is 1,40 while bonus is active. They set my balance to €560,- from €4000,-. (€3440,- voided because of overriding 40cents above max. bet.) Consider the HUGE bonus of €25,- !!! And i was advertised as a "big winner" on the homepage anyway (see file attached).

RoyalPanda is a very good casino with its own visible concept and has a very good reputation overall. The main thing i want to stress here is their controversy of their bonus system: You can withdraw all winnings from bonus play if you have not dipped into the bonus section of the money which is a very good thing. But if you have dipped into the bonus, you game play will not longer count towards wagering you you will have to eventually make another deposit to complete the WR. That was absolutely disappointing to me when i found that out. Still you can try play you bonus balance up but you will not be able to complete WR before depositing again. Their promotions could be more frequent..besides their weekly frifay 50% bamboo bonus, those promotions are too far apart (in my opinion). I also didnt like that their verification process took over 1 day which cost me a withdrawal in the end. still, the casino is not all that bad and i like their layout of the site, expecially the game display seems modern to me.

Interesting that this casino have good selection of slots, and also i would like to say royal panda - they give more freespins that other casinos for new games. I made only 3 deposits in this casino, and when south park reel chaos was released i get 25 freespins from this place. Other casinos never threat you like that just for 3 deposits. Customer support i did not test at all, luckily casino spent some time to write any info that player need in different pages. Pity fact - bonuses not big, and also rare.
