Review of Rockbet Casino
Rockbet is one of the many Rival Gaming powered white label casinos that have sprung up in recent years. All sporting the same Rival games, same support crew, policies, and banking methods, they are differentiated only in terms of bonuses offered and management. And management is the biggest problem for this casino, give that it is owned by the same people responsible for Rome Casino, which has proven time and again to be a badly managed, slow paying, rogue casino.
Blacklisted, rogue ownership
Rockbet has had its share of problems over the years, including complaints of slow payment and confiscation of winnings, and the problems have persisted despite a couple of changes in ownership. The current owners are the same folks responsible for the dire Rome Casino which, among other things, has been caught red-handed cheating players from winning jackpots on certain games, along with being implicated in launching DDOS style attacks against other gaming sites, and currently faces accusations of stealing money from its software supplier TopGame. All of this is more than enough reason to warn people to steer clear of this casino and any others run by the same management.
Rockbet game selection and quality
While Rival casinos are not known for offering a ridiculous quantity of games, I was impressed by the quality of Rockbet’s line-up. Currently numbering over 70 games, the majority are slots (36 video slots and 12 reel slots), but you will also find a wide range of other games including Video poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Baccarat, Keno, and various table poker games.
Of course we must make mention of the Rival iSlots - a recent innovation that slots players should at least try once. These slots feature unique storylines that unfold as you play the game, and some even include skill-based bonus games such as Hole in Won - a golf-themed slot where you get to play a mini golf game in the bonus round. Rival says that no two games are ever the same, and although you can obviously say that about any slot game, these iSlots definitely bump the entertainment factor up a notch, and are highly recommended.
Banking options, security, and customer service
Rockbet accepts most major modes of payment like credit and debit cards, Neteller, Monbeybookers, Ecocard, Click2Pay and more. Players have a chance to pick their preferred currency from an assortment of currencies that includes Euros, Pounds, US Dollars, and Rand. A huge honking red flag is this disgusting predatory rule hidden in the terms and conditions page that makes it impossible for you to win more than 10x your deposit if you deposit less than $250:
All Deposits of 249 USD/EURO/AUS or less have a max withdrawal of 10X the deposit for that specific play session (all other currencies pegged to USD).
Rockbet uses a 128 bit SSL Digital Encryption to ensure the safety and security of all their online transactions. Their customer support team is decent, although as is common with many Rival casinos the shared support team is not dedicated to this casino. Rockbet has a 24x7 player helpline that can be contacted via live chat, telephone or email.
As low as the bar has been set, Rockbet is even worse than most other Rival "white-label" casinos. The games are good and the bonuses are plentiful, but the casino is let down in many other ways. Unfortunately the issues common to many Rival casinos still apply - shared customer support, payment processing difficulties and the low withdrawal limit which, at $4000 per week, is sure to turn off the high rollers and jackpot chasers. Considering the predatory win caps on small deposits and the dodgy history of other casinos under the same ownership, this is definitely one that we recommend you avoid.
