Review of Maxino Casino
Call me a sucker, but I just can't turn down a beautiful looking online casino. Maxino's beautiful presentation drew me in and quickly had me looking through the huge variety of games it offers. Going in deeper I ended up finding a very good online casino, not without some minor issues, but definitely one that I will come back to for quite some time.
Software and game selection
Maxino Casino is a browser-based casino that requires absolutely no installation of bulky software to your hard drive. Everything here is played from inside your web browser, and I ended up finding that this site hosts a deep library of games from world-class developers such as Net Entertainment, Microgaming Quickfire, Leander Games, NextGen, and Quickspin, among others.
All of my favourite Net Entertainment games can be found here, including new releases such as South Park Reel Chaos and Go Bananas, long with older classic s such as Dead or Alive and Lucky Angler. Microgaming's Quickfire platform supplies the sites with popular slots such as Immortal Romance, Girls with Guns, and Battlestar Galactica, but some of the newer popular games like Playboy or The Dark Knight are nowhere to be found which is a little disappointing. Games from lesser known developers are also available, suffice to say that it would take me forever to list all of the games that I found here.
I will say that it is a bit of a pain in the neck to try to find all of these great games though, as Maxino lacks a built in search function that so many other sites have. It lists games via the near standard tiled grid of logos, and you have to scroll down and click a link to load the full list on any one page. You can then use your browser's in built search function to find a game by title. Granted, there is a text list of all the games in the page footer which you can also search using your browser, but overall the functionality lacks polish which just goes to show that good design is more than pretty pictures and colours.
In addition to slots, Maxino Casino offers a good set of table games, albeit without many of the variations that many casinos like to try to add to boost their libraries. These games include Vegas classics like blackjack, roulette, poker, baccarat, pontoon, red dog, and more. I actually quite liked this selection and found it to be more than adequate for my tastes. Video poker and some arcade games can also be found on the last few tabs of the casino’s tab bar. Even though there aren’t a ton of choices here, they are a welcome addition, as many other casinos seem to forget about them when they build their gaming libraries.
Maxino also has a live dealer casino that it offers to its customers, with a very well designed studio that live streams baccarat, roulette, and blackjack games to customers with table limits that start low and go very high. I was very impressed with the video quality and responsiveness of Maxino’s live casino and actually spent quite a bit of time playing there. The dealers were very friendly and pleasant to be around, and I didn’t pick up on any lag or technical issues that have torpedoed some of the other live dealer casinos that I have tried.
Banking and customer support
Maxino offers a surprisingly small variety of banking options to its punters. There are just six ways to deposit money at the casino, with five of those same options being open for withdrawal. While not ideal, the majority of customers from the countries that are allowed to play at Maxino should have no problem opening a Neteller or Skrill account. And I highly recommend that you do so, because the two withdrawals I have made from this casino (one Neteller, one Skrill) were both paid within a couple of hours. This speed is very good and puts Maxino near the top when it comes to payout times.
Customer support is also rock steady, with staff available to support you in a variety of languages via live chat and email. The support crew are available 20 hours a day, from 8am through to 4am central European time. There is no phone support number though.
Maxino Casino was a wonderful surprise to me, bringing a good looking design, tons of games, a great live dealer casino, and solid banking system that puts it near the top of the list when it comes to excellent sites. The only real issues I have here are the lack of a game search feature and limited banking options. Other than that, Maxino is an excellent casino to play.
