Review of Lucky Club Casino
Lucky Club Casino has had an interesting journey since it was brought online to offer wagering games to its clients. The casino's ownership has changed hands several times, with the site being purchased by the Jackpot Capital Group and undergoing a relaunch in October of 2011. Do these recent changes help make Lucky Club Casino shine, or was it better off under its old way of business?
Software and Games
Lucky Club Casino is powered by NuWorks software, the same backbone that Buzzluck Casino utilises. The games at Lucky Club are undoubtedly of high quality, with the slots offered at the casino featuring rich graphics, smooth animations, and entertaining bonus features. As a "next-gen" software developed by the same people responsible for RTG games, players familiar with RTG casinos will feel instantly comfortable.
Each slot machine has a random jackpot available that can be won at any time no matter what you wager. In addition there is the Monster Millions progressive jackpot that sits at a shade over a million dollars at the time of this review.
The big issue with the casino's software however, is the dearth of variety. While we understand that the NuWorks software is somewhat new, there is very little to play at the casino other than blackjack, slots, and video poker. We would really like to see the games library expanded, as although the software has been around for over a year now, the non-slot selection is still anemic. It really makes a player wonder whether playing a handful of good games beats out some of the other casinos that feature many more games that are similar but maybe not quite as polished in quality.
Banking and Customer Service
Banking is another area where Lucky Club offers decent solutions with a limited feature set. Banking worked well overall with our deposit being placed into our account instantaneously, and withdrawing funds was efficient if not lightning quick. Players can expect their withdrawals to take a couple of days to reach their accounts, with players in the United States waiting longer as per usual.
We were a bit concerned to see the limited banking options that Lucky Club Casino offers its clients. In our eyes more banking options are a positive, as we do not like seeing our ways of moving money in and out of our accounts to be restricted. The casino offers only a handful of ways to deposit funds, and even fewer to pull them out. While we were a bit disappointed, this is sadly the case for many online casinos that offer services to American players and it seems we just have to learn to live with that.
Customer service was perhaps the brightest spot for Lucky Club, with friendly customer service reps who stand ready to assist you through telephone, email, and Skype. Lucky Club's customer support is available 24/7, and we were able to get assistance very quickly and were back on our way to wagering in no time. One feature we would have liked to see is the instant messaging that many other casino groups offer. We find IM to be the fastest way to get a problem resolved, but to its credit Lucky Club was fast and great with getting our problem resolved through email.
Lucky Club is a nice casino that offers a limited but slick library of games. If you are looking to play a large variety of games, you may want to go elsewhere, but if you primarily enjoy graphics rich slots and play little else besides blackjack or video poker, Lucky Club is worth a look.
